Damn this scene get's me everytime. The pain in Greenlee's vocie and in her eyes was so real. You could feel her soul ripping apart. RB was so powerful in this scene. Its a shame Greens and RB were sacraficed at the Ryan/Rylee alter. That couple was nothing but a joke. Greenleo was the real thing.
One the saddest scenes ever. Why did she have to lose her Leo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now it's like old times again. The love of her life Leo du Pres may still be dead but David is there to pick up the pieces. I love their bond!
I so have experienced this very moment, after my mom died, and it's so amazing having to struggle with it everyday. I know exactly how she feels... It Is a terrible immense pain that is so hard to get through....
I could watch this scene a thousand times and it could still bring me to tears, especially the last minute. What she says about his skin and kisses seems so right for what she would be thinking in missing him. The way she clutches her heart and just manages to say the word: "perfectly." And "Oh, he loved me..." Almost as if Greenlee were surprised someone could know her and love her so completely. RB makes her grief and loneliness so real.
Leo and Greenlee are my all time favorite supercouple. So completely meant for each other, torn apart so tragically... AMC pretty much lost it after this, never recovered in my opinion. Rebecca and Vincent are almost as compelling as her and Josh were together. My favorite scene of Rebecca's ever. And it won her the Emmy that she so deserved that year :)
No sadly it did not win her the emmy. RB has never won an Emmy... even though she sooooo deserved it with this performance. Vanessa Marcil won that year!
Holy mother you're right! I must have blocked it out. But VM is so great too... It's hard to be mad at her. But Rebecca not having one is SUCH a travesty.
Rebecca was NOMINATED for an Emmy that year as well as 2 years earlier. (I like VM too, but that Emmy should've gone to Rebecca!) But, you were probably remembering that she did win the SOAP OPERA DIGEST that year. And it was well deserved. However, you are right about it being such a travesty that she does not have an Emmy yet!
Incredible incredible incredible - and did I mention incredible? - acting. This and the "I'll never love anyone the way I loved Leo" scene are two of the most powerful tear-jerking scenes ever. It's too bad they muted the full version because Greenlee crying on the floor with David after this clip is the saddest part! I've cried over a show/movie only 3 times in my life: those two scenes and I won't admit the third in public but it was from a very good movie. Rebecca rocks!
Phenominal performance by Rebecca Budig! You can tell that she was really "feeling" everything that Greenlee was feeling in this scene. She also makes the viewer feel the same thing at the same time and it's heart-wrenching.
Thanks for uploading this scene again Aislinno. Sorry you had to do it again but I aprreciate it. This is one of the best scenes I've ever seen on this show. Great job RB!!!!
She deserves an EMMY!!!

"Yes, they will get you to numb - they'll kill you."

@bdgbs246 I want THIS ^^^ Greenlee back. Not the person they've turned her into since Leo's death. But I do love Rebecca. So I'll watch anyway, haha.
