There's a scene in the original Dawn Of The Dead, just after the guys get a TV and a radio, where they're passing a bottle of Jack Daniels around. According to the cast it was the real thing too.
you're right! bottle was made of 'sugar glass' probably. The real Jack Daniel's bottle would have broken the windshield and still be left intact. Way to go, Jack!
