  • i love cars . . lol!

  • Great car!! I´m not surprised by the kilometres because I have a 750i and I know it is very reliable.=)

Mine has only 178.000km, but I hope it gets as healthy as yours when it gets to 400.000km.

Enjoy the car for many km´s to come!!! :-)

  • HEY MANN. Love the car!

  • @Pahiirm hehe....Hii Pahirm :)

  • i FAVortied Shared and Added to Playlist!

  • i remember this car!

  • фигня не очень ..беха у просто дерзкая вид салон дерзкий больше нечего ...

  • This is why you take 5.4 V12 instead of 4.4 V8 :)

Screw the sound...I want performance :) Thumbs UP

  • i've got a '94 750i with 619000 km... its a wonderful car :)

  • What is your secret to the longevity of your engine? Frequent oil changes, every 4-6 months? The maintenance must cost an arm and a leg. I drive an E34 525i, with 226,000KM and I thought my car had too many miles on it.

  • I have a bmw 525 tds a 370.000 :) , It just rocks , gets up to 220 :)

  • holy shit!!!! 310000km!!!!!???? thats a good car man. usually these dont do this kind of mileage. i had 730i v8 and 740i and both developed gearbox problems around 200000km. thats a nice car you got there.

  • @piddyirishman Thx....actually it´s 400000km as we speak :) and it´s still performing. The gearbox differs from the 740/730/ 750. The M73 engine with it's high torque is living a calme life even though you put the pedal to the metal. Based on my best friends comments (x bmw tech) the M73 V12 is still the best, or one of the best engines ever manufactured by BMW, Just take care if it´s "needs" and it will run forever.

  • Well engine sound's great for 310.384 km =D,hope you still keep the car, that engine is one of the best motors from bmw;)

  • @AndreiZzfull im still keeping it, 403.435 km now , and still same performance :)

  • @Skalmans750 Take care man :)

  • @Skalmans750 how many kms now lol ??

  • Using an online stopwatch, I put that at 5.5 seconds to 100kph!

  • @voodoomelons Yup, it's a beast , but not unique :)

  • @Skalmans750 Very unique for a 2 ton E38 16 years ago! 0.7 of a second slower than an E39 M5, impressive.

  • @Skalmans750 Its unique for a 2 ton car over 16 years old! 0.7 of a second slower than an E39 M5, impressive.

  • @voodoomelons Well.. what i ment was that it's not alone.

  • seems slow? It certainly doesn't slow down at higher speeds though

  • @Solumic Slow?.. it's faster then most of the modern cars in the same class, allthough it's an old 1995 y model ;)

This is a limo, not a sportscar :)

  • @Skalmans750 Guess I'm not into limo's then

  • i will

  • nice, ill look for one of theese.

  • @numsebolleren Cool... but don´t rush, take your time and tryout a few before you decide.

im sure that you will find one that´s running as good as mine does :)

  • hey dude, is it completely standard and on a flat road ( not downhill)?

  • @numsebolleren Its standard and the road is flat. During my search for a nice specimen i came to test about 7 e38 750´s

2-3 of them ran as smooth as mine does, so it´s not unique.

I picked this one as i liked the overall shape of the car, and the "NavarraViolett Metallic" paintjob + aubergine buffalo leather..kinda unusual.

  • That is pretty fast ! x)

  • love 7 series

  • Ale zapierdalasz...

  • @SyberianMiq dostaniesz mandat :P

  • it is a V12 what do u exapt -_-

  • I love this cars!

BMW 750iL (e38) is the best car in the world!!!

  • @skalmans750 How much litters/100 km , my friend

  • @szubik6745 About 11,5 liters on 100km at a speed of 120kmh.

  • This an 2,3 tons limo, not a sportscar :) Compare it to other limos instead.

  • @Skalmans750 Long edit 2048 kg, normal edit 1800kg

  • @666asior 2150 kg acording to registration documents.

  • This looks very impressive. Love the engine sound.

  • @modzel007 and?

  • @Skalmans750 nathing

  • @Skalmans750

xD LOL modzel007 is Idiot ...

  • @modzel007

    Alpina B10 V8S kills this wagon ;)

  • @TZIRNI audi rs6 avant kill b10

  • @modzel007

    Alpina B5 S touring kills RS6 avant

  • @TZIRNI

    Hell yeah!

  • @TZIRNI suicide yourself

  • @audis4nogaro

    crying Audi fan?Hahahaha

  • COOL :)))

  • why a 4th gear is so slow?

  • Van benne energia!

  • faster than this crappy M3

  • @schl0tte Jajaja faster than a crappy M3... xD OmG drive one first then you talk, i drove a `05 M3 and holy crap :S it leaves my Megane F1 faaaaaaaaaaaaar behind :S i can't tell but it goes from 0 to 62 in about 5 seconds :S according to GPS software for measuring speed

  • This is what makes one smile, the ability to accelerate like this with a 2 ton car. I have an e38 750 at home myself bu driving it during winter time requires quite some skill (northern Europe).

  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn that sound means PLEASURE

  • If the fuel gauge went up to 100 I'm sure the needle would be around that area :P

  • This is probly faster than the other vids becuase you turned off traction control, put it in sport mode, and probly hit the EDC for the suspension, nice run.

  • allah ihdik

  • Nice takeoff...

  • nice engine condition! 5*****

  • look at the fuel rate :D

  • Full throttle...12cylinders that need to be fed :)

  • every bmw's fuel economy meter gets barried under full thorttle

  • Nice, i have a 750i as well, does the same, stock. Gave a Golf R32 a run for his money last week in Germany (especially over 180km/h :) )

  • you can say approx. that each cylinder stands for 50.000 km of lifecycle. So a 12-cylinder lasts for 600.000 km ... theoretically :)

But i know 4-cylinders with 400.000 km and more ... depends on the driver and how he cared about the engine (maintenance and so on ).

    Nice car though :)

  • you have no idea what you're talking about...50k "life cycle"....per cylinder? Please state the source of this briliant statement

  • WOW!! that was amazing. is it stock?

  • Yes it's Stock. Ive had some problems with half the engine shutting down (limp home mode) and after a days trying to pinpoint the source of the problem without succes i had to replace the waterpump due to waterleakage and after that operation the problem with (limp home mode) was gone?!

  • wow thats amazing... i cant beleive it has sooo many miles (kms) on it, and its running sooooo good. haha. :D that 0-60 is faster then the 2002 edition.... i think. hahaa e38... sexiest 7 series ever... other then the 2009-2010 ones. hahaha

  • 369780 is not that much for engine like that, ihave 740 with 230000km and it still runs like new, perfect and reliable engines these-just need regular and proper service

  • questo nn è un 750 i ....... lo so perche mio papa ne aveva uno e mi ha detto che il 75oi eha l'cambio automatico......

  • Uh? Km? Is like what 120mph right there?

  • That was exactly 130mph, 210kmh

  • Nice performance, I had the 750 e38 from -94 but we had to sell it :(

    369780km wow!

  • Sounds like a V8. Are you lie?

  • @sammyseefatpoon It sounds nothing like a V8

  • @captaindudeson

    this is a v12 hahahah 5litres

  • @Kaan2o1o I am fully aware of that! some guy said he though it was a 740! and it's 5.4 litres!

  • 240 km is not for an e38!!!

  • eh?.. im not sure that i understand your comment?

  • yea more like 260km+

  • Well....then you need to study about the e38 750 ;)

Have a nice weekend..and cheers! "BURP"

  • 310,000kms? Should be getting near it's first service now, yes?

  • hehe...yes first service done :) and to update the milage it´s now 36,978kms!

And still smooth performance.....ok ok..had to replace one of the MAF´s due to rough idle and loss of power durin acceleration. I also replaced the sparkplugs for fresh ones (270$!) but it was worth every penny.

  • 300K for a v12? Come on :)

  • e38 = Best 7-series Bmw ever!

  • 5s 0-100? isn't it 6.6?

  • "Normally" it´s 6,6 but this beauty is 5,8- 5,9 ;)

    Untouched, and all original :)

if it was prepared or tuned i wouldnt bather to post it on Youtube.

As i wrote earlier... i testdrove a few specimens durin the hunt for "my" e38 750, and aprx 2-3 cars out of 10 performed as good as this one.

And in most cases the owners were older persons (wanted a untouched car).

  • So you state that this 750i has the 5.9s stock? Something like other E38s has 6.6s and few lucky pieces has 5.9? Could it really be?:) From now on, I'll be hunting too:)

  • Seek and Thou Shalt Find xD

  • Some 750's hade better performance than others. No 1 knows why ;)

  • WELL........ BMW ALWAYS lies about their performance... they said the 135i will get 5.4 second 0-60 before 135 was released in us. i got my hands on it. i got it in 4.7 seconds.... BMW also said the new z4 is 0-60 in 5.3 seconds. but i got it in 4.8 seconds, but it felt faster.... but the breaks on the z4 was dissapointing.. but pretty good for a roadster.

BMW most likely said 0-60 in 6.6 seconds.... but i would beleive if you said most 7 series e38s were 0-60 in less then 6 seconds

  • 310.000 km....that's a lot for a V12 engine=) but clearly it is still intact, great car then!

  • 310.000km a lot for a v12 engine.what a idiot..... 1.000.000 yes it s a lot

  • wha's your problem? have i innsaulted you or something? i wasn't rude, just pointing out that 310.000 km is a lot...

  • 310.000km for this motor it s nothing man!!!!!!!

  • german car it s the best.... ever

  • WHOA!!

    310'000 KM!!!!

    Great car!!!

  • do you think it could be because some models do not have a sport mode on their transmissions?I looked at some other videos on youtube and i can clearly see that you car shifts up a gear at much higher rpm...please reply btw E38 is one of the most amazing cars and you have got a very fast one

  • Hi.. i dont know if there are e38 750 without the S mode?

I cant recall that ive ever seen any without it, i might be wrong though.

  • All 7-series without the "tiptronic" gearbox have s-mode. 94-96 had S-mode, after that bmw introduced the Tiptronic gearbox.

  • @NarishmaJr

On my 2003 530d i have s-mode and tiptronic. When you put manual mode and you dont change a gear you are actually in s-mode

  • @tigoes Yup.

  • Rondell Y58 18" Rims with 275x40x18 and 245x45x18.

This car is faster then it normally should be, but it´s not alone.

    When i wen´t lookin for a nice exemple of a e38 750 i came to "testdrive" about 8-10cars.

2-3 of them ran as smooth as mine.

The owners were all cases older persons and the cars all original as i wanted a "untouched" specimen.

However, in May i will tune it :) my local tuningshop is very curious how it will run, especially as it performs this good all original :)

  • What was the size of the wheels and tyres at this occasion? Acceleration 0-200 km/h in 21 seconds seems exceptionally quick. The 750 is fast but Im not so sure its that fast.

I have a E38 750i -95 myself and i'am going to see how fast my car does 0-100 km/h 0-200 km/h as soon as winter is over here in Sweden.

  • autoproll.....

  • very nice :-)

    for europe,

    perf original 0 - 100 kmh = 6,6s

    (motor base M73 B54)

    31ch din - 326 ch

  • damn.... how long till 100km/h ?

i think the 750i e38 need 6.8 sec to 100, but your is faster. some tuning on your e38?

    nice car man

  • Hi..

    5,9 to 100km/h.

No, no tuning, at least not yet.

During my search of a nice 750 i came to drive quite a number of them, some performed better then others.

Why?....well you tell me.. i have no idea.

But im enjoying while i can :)

  • I own an E38 750i and i'm telling u it kicks ass. I would never sell this car to anyone , it's like new. I think if u service this cars once a year to BMW and don't wait for the green lights , they can go forever. V12 engine rocks

  • 0.0 ... 310 384 kilometers !?

  • Yup... turning 35 as we speak, and still no alarming consumption of oil or any other fluids.

Still performing very very well, no "blue smoke" or any other signs of the engine starting to crack up.

  • thats nice.

jeez, id be freaking out if my car was anywehre close to 350,000 -=o

    i panic after 150,000

  • I agree, 740 e38 with automatic GearB has nothing to do with 750 e38 automatic, thats abvious :)

but setting up a manual gear box in 740 e38 kick ass 745e65/750e38/, in the city and on lightly jamed highways, it becomes unbeatable,

but on a free highway 740 falls behind after190-200km/h

Manual gearboxes is a must thing for BMW

(my opinion) and real bmw starts with 2liter engine , cheers

  • 750i e38 engine is too havy and eats Too much gasoline for the acceleration effect it gives .I guess you know that manual M5 gear box from e39 fits most of BMW v6 v8 engines with minimal modifications/I did it with my 740 when the original gear box died/

    works great

  • Interesting reading, ive got a friend who modified a (M5?) manual gearbox and put it in hes 750 e38...and i tell you, HE is fast.

The problem for him was to keep the rubber to stay in contact with asfalt :)

However if we are comparing 750/740 with automotic gearboxes, the prestanda is about the same allthough there is a difference at kickdowns at high speed (160-200) where the M73 still impress with lots of extra power while the M60 aint got that much left to offer.(use to own a e38 740)

  • In 1994-95 Bmw manufactured several thousands of 740s for Europe , with the Gertrag manual gearbox (similar to M5 e39 Manual G.b.), all same Purple metalic color , i owe one ,the 740 e38 1994 ,

    (7 gears, 6 forward - 1 rare) this model is even faster then e38 750i on the start up to 200km/h , 745i e65 is even worse-slow

  • This is German Precision lovely car you got and RARE...I'm thinking of buying a E38 750IL theres not many around now days theres more of the 740's...

Does anyone know how many E38 750IL's exsist?

  • read the other comments, i answered your question allready.

  • is it stock?cos" from what i timed on the speedo it did 0-100kmh in 5 seconds flat.amazing considering e38s weigh around 1.8 tons.

  • Yes it´s stock, if you scroll down the posted comments you can see that there are others with the same experience from these cars. I dont know what you used for meassure, but it makes 0-100 in 5,7-5,9 sec, not 5.

I will however tune it in the near future and maybe ill post a "before" and "after" clip when it´s done.

  • this has.. a 4.4 v8 right?

  • Hi... No this a 5,4 L V12

  • the 740 38 has the engine you have mentioned

  • lol @ fuel economy guage 0 - 20 L per 100k's in 6. almost same as 0-100kmh

  • Und das mit 310.000km auf der Uhr, Respekt!!

  • Yes :) that´s RESPECT, thanks to the BMW engineers who´s still creating some of the best engines in the world when it comes to power and durability.

And even though it have 32,000 miles, the consumption of oil is nearly the specifications given in the owners manual from when the car was new.

    "Salute to German Engineering"

  • have you ever changed the tranny fluid?, it's sopposed to be lifetime fluid but sounds a bit sketchy.

  • Nope..i never did, but ive been thinkin about doin it before the winter strikes.

I know people who did, with variating result..in some cases it ran smother then ever, in other cases the gearbox never came to be the same again.

It´s a bit tricky though as the majority of the oil get stucked in the "Turbine" and it takes about 4-5 oilchanges to consider 75% of the oil as fresh.

In case i go ahead with it i will settle with 1 oilchange now, and perhaps a nother one in the spring.

  • Ye that's true about it taking 4-5 for fresh oil....... tranny fluid dosn't get contaminated like motor oil so i can see it lasting a long time, have you tried getting advice from bmw yet? I have the same car with 199,300kms, my tranny runs great but im just wondering.

  • Do you have 750I or IL? I have IL becuase only 740i, 740il, and 750il e38's were sent to North America. I think of my car rare as there was 180,284 740i/il's produced but only 15,759 750il's made. Probly only about 6% of e38's in America are the v12. Plus it's a james bond car. I just hope my cars value starts going up from it's long down trend

  • Hi there... ive got an 750i, i was looking for a L but when i couldnt find one in reasonable shape i bought my "i" version instead.

  • Well 750i is rare, only 8559 were made. These are such good cars, your's is just as fast as when it left the factory and it has allot of kms. These engines are so smooth running.

  • Be happy to have a short one, the L`s suffer from understeer, 750i drives better!

  • You mixed up miles and kilometers

    1 mile = 1.6 km

    310.000 km = 193.000 miles.

I assume you meant Swedish miles.

    1 Swedish mile = 10 km = 6.3 miles

    310.000 km = 31.000 Swedish miles

  • 0-200 20 sec good even for today

  • fake or tuned engine. 850 CSI with 381 ps, 550 Nm and 6 speed manual gearbox have 0-200 in 20s ....

  • Hi there!

The only thing that matters is that I know that the car is all original, and that it runs extremely well to be stock.

If it makes anyone jealuse... well nothing much i can do about that :)

  • Naw it's not tuned, i own a 750il and i get the same performance.

  • dose 0-170kms in 14 seconds, after 170kms its not as fast as it could be becuase they made the 4th and 5th gears for cruising at high speeds.

  • I own this exact car, amazing car, it is for sale tho becuase i cannot afford the insurance anymore at 19 years of age, I am in the Toronto area, Let me know if you want one of these.

  • Nice car man, love the E38, actually love the old E39 and E38 models, hate the new ones !

  • He rortizm your car has a turbo look up 750i turbo it smokes a e39 M5 so don,t compare a normal engine with a turbo charged one.

And this is a automatic gearbox take a 750i with a 6 speed manual and you will see its full potential

  • BMW used this engine as a base for the one in the Mclaren F1. obviously they enlarged it etc etc but the essential architecture is still there especially in the sound

  • Hehehe...kiddo....this is an limo, not a sport car, and it competes very well to most of the brand new cars that are leaving the factorys today, although its 13years old!.

Ill take it that you dont know much abouth the model program of BMW.

but thats ok..i forgive you for your stupidity.

  • actually this car left 0 at 00:03 and was at 100kms at 00:08, 0-60 pretty quik for a car of this wieght, 120-170 is even faster tho, if you knew rolls royce used this engine from 98-2002 in the silver seraph you wouldnt talk shit

  • So ein Assi und die ESP Lampe brennt...^^

  • Hi....no, i did not burn any bulb :) i managed to damage the sockets when i removed the dashboard to replace the fan.

  • is it the same v12 that's in the e32?

  • No... e32 got the M70, also a very reliable engine and very much related to the M73.

Ive had i few e32 before the e38, and they ran pretty smooth aswell, allthough i had to change the manifold gasket due to rough idle.

Thats something that most m70 are suffering from.

The gasket is rather expensive, but "easy" to put in place with the right preparations.

  • is it a very reliable engine?

  • I would say that the v12 M73 is one of BMW´s most reliable engines.

Just be sure of that you use high quality oil/filters, and it will run just fine.

I use to change plugs and belts every autum or spring, just to be on the safeside.

  • what's the fuel consumption .../100km?

  • About 1,1 liters at100km per hour.

    1,3 at 130km per hour.

    1,5---> when stepping on it!

  • there are no way any car will only use 1.1L per 100km especially this v12 bmw. something like 10L per 100km is more realistic

  • phas 3...

it consumes 1,1l of gasoline per 10km at a constant speed of 100km/h.

  • Its the indicator for the momental gasoline consumption.....hmm not sure about the spellings there ..hehe

  • What's that small gauge below the tachometer?

  • This is an all original bmw 750 from 1995.

    It runs extremly well!

And NO..there is no tuning what so ever, but maybe in the near future as im curious to findout if it will run even better.

    Skalman.
