  • NICE JOB CONSIDERING THAT THIS PEACE WAS COMPOSED FOR THE WANAMAKER ORGAN. THE WANAMAKER IS THE LARGEST FULLY FUNTIONING PIPE ORGAN IN THE WORLD!THE WANAMAKER ORGAN IS NOW AT 100% PLAYABILTY.

  • @danielmkubacki The Symphonie Concertante was written for the Wanamaker organ? That's news to me.

  • Despite the fact that this is possibly the ugliest sounding organ I've ever heard, I liked the arrangement and the performance. I would love to hear it again on a good organ.

  • Excellente interprétation, malgré des anches particulièrement désaccordées... Votre jeu est particulièrement équilibré. Excellent tempo. Félicitations.

  • I am no organist, but I find, you play this wonderful piece very impressively. I like it very well.

  • great. thank you maestro! 5*

  • I've done an arrangement of this piece and play it regularly in recitals.

  • Where is this organ located and can you post the stop list

  • very good - muc better than virigl vox´s version!

  • Fantastic playing, but , Mon Dieu! what a brash instrument!

  • You can see the glissando from the coupled tracker keyboard to pedal.

  • I am looking for an arrangement of the Jongen to put on a recital. Where can I find something for solo organ? Thanks!

  • It's got to be around somewhere because I have a CD with someone playing his arrangement. Don't bother asking me for the info about the recording; it's pretty terrible performance-wise.

  • Hi there. I made a transcription of the Toccata for organ solo with the orchestral parts in too. Any good? I'm in the UK..

  • Mr2773, are you American? Honest question. If you look at the clip just before it finishes, you will see a glissando. It's in the pedal and unlike cop-out Virgil Fox, is done without a fuss, change of stops or need to talk to the audience.

If I'm wrong, I'm sorry but...

  • Ah, I do see the glissando now. You really have to watch carefully to see his legs moving. I couldn't hear it so I didn't think to look at his legs hence the question I asked.

  • I came by to listen to this again. I've known this piece for 30 years and it has never yet failed to thrill me. Why do you not perform it with the Virgil Fox glissando at the end?

  • It was too difficult for me.

  • Ah, that explains it. I know it's a pedal glissando. Nevertheless, it's still an excellent performance. I think I'd need a couple more hands and a couple sticks in my mouth to play that piece!

  • Hello i've made my own arrangement with the organ score and some orchestra part by earing and solo performance by virgil Fox.

  • What score are reading from? The organ part score? Thanks.

  • Bravo!

  • This is a wonderful arrangement. I play Virgil Fox's arrangement in concert quite a bit. Very good playing. Thanks for sharing it with the YouTube community.

  • Merci beaucoup, c'est trés gentil.
