Never did the Brides of Funkenstein get LEFTOVERS ~ They were right there during the PRIME of the P Funk era ~ They joined the P Funk Fam in '77 ~ George Clinton named them after Parliaments album The Clones of Dr. Funkenstein which was Released in '76 ~ So there seems to have been a priminition of the Group ~ They not only opened for P Funk shows as well as performing with Parliament Funkadelic
