  • Dear Imad Bhai, Pardon my ignorance.Could you please tell me the meaning of the word "TALKHIYAN"? Urdu is such a sweet language and could be effortlessly used for expressing any form of human emotion. Aadab!!!

  • @gunanidhy55

    Dear Friend,

    TalkhiyaN means "bitternesses" "resentments"

    Thanks and regard

    Mukhtar

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH MUKHTAR BHAI,I AM ADICTED TO THIS SONG AND VIDEO ,WHAT A PERFECT COMBINATION IT SEEMS LIKE IT WAS PICTURISED ON ONE AND ONLY MADHUBALA.

    Dear Imad Bhai sahib,

This song and video is so dear to me that I myself see and listen this song everyday. The lyric and music of this immortal song, transfer you to another plane altogether. There must be something divine in this engrossing song which makes one relate to it. This is probably one of the finest songs ever composed. It can be considered one of the top 10 compositions of Hindi music.

    Thaks a lot for liking.

    Best regards

    Mukhtar

  • The actress is Nalni Jaywant not Madhubala

  • @shaukatjamil

    Dear Shaukat Sahib,

The origional song was on Nalni Jaywant in Railway Platform. As it is not avilable, may be the prints of the movie are destroyed, I have created it on Madhubala the way I see this song.

    Thanks and best regards

    Mukhtar

  • The sing is no doubt excellent. Madan Mohan was an assistant to S.D.Burman at least in Do Bhai (1947).

  • @srinivasanchanniga S.D. Burman was lucky to have Madan Mohan help him out in Do Bhai. Because of Madan, S.D. earned a gold medal for "Mera Sundar Beet Gaya".

  • @RealMusicKing You mean to say Dada Burman was not capable of composing a song like 'Mera sundar sapna'? Rather I would say Madan must have been benefited by this association to learn about finer aspects of composing film music from a stalwart like Dada Burman whom he loved and respected.

  • @srinivasanchanniga SD was having a hard time with it. Madan Mohan composed it for him. As he also gave SD Jeevan Ke Safar Mein Raahi in Munimji 1955. Never claimed any credit for either. Madan Mohan did respect SD very much as he respected all senior MD's. When MD Shyam Sunder passed away with Alif Laila 1953 incomplete. Madan Mohan finished it. Never took any credit or compensation. No one knows who composed Yeh Bebasi Yeh Mera Haal-e-Zar Dekh To Le (Talat Mahmood). That, was, Madan Mohan!

  • zabardast. what a melodious voice. nice collection

  • wah wah

  • Very excellent song sung by Lata with Music by Late Madan Mohan. I hav heard many a time phir bhi man nahin bherta. Jee kerta hai sunte raho

jab tek aankhri saans na aajaye. R. M. Dixit

    Dear RM Dixit Ji,

  • evergreen hauntingly beautiful melogy, thanks so much!! There's another old, rare, sad lilting song by LataJi, very similar to "Meri taqdeer ke maalik" but the lyrics are "mohabbat ke ........ zara itna batadena ...". I'm very sorry I don't know the lyrics but it really is a lovely song! Hope someone reading this can help with the details, thanks.

  • @Suryasmitha

Thank you Surashmitha ji for liking my presentation. I will try to find your favorite song.

    best regards

  • awesome fantastic marvellous brilliant A-One thank you so much for sharing:D

  • @rehmaather

Thanks Rehma for liking one of the best creations of Bollywood Hindi music. This is one of my most favorite songs.

  • Your montage has beautifully capatured the touching sentiments of this masterpiece of a song by Lata. For me this is one of Lata's five best songs, another one being, another one being "sapane me sajan se do baate.." One of your best creations, since it does not clash with Madhubala's lip movements. A treasure! Thanks Mukhtar ji.

  • @nandu1f

    Dear Nandu Ji,

Thanks a lot for liking my presentation. I feel honored when people like you appreciate my creation. The lyric and music of this immortal song, transfer you to another plane altogether. This is also one of my favorite songs. I myself see and listen this overpowering and enthralling song Everyday. I would like to know 3 other songs of Lata Ji you like most. "Sapaney mein Sajjan se do Batain" is very beautiful song too.

    Thanks and best regards

    Mukhtar

  • @myvision22 Mukhtar ji, as for Lata's 5 best songs, whatever answer I give would be unfair & incomplete for the singer, MD & others involved. Ranking is impossible, yet the list: Sapane' me' sajan se' do' baate' (Gateway of India), Mere' sapane' me' aana re' sajana (Rajhath), Man me' kisiki preet basaa le' (Aaram), Do din ke' liye' mehmaan yahan (Badal), Har aas ashk baar hain, ujadi huin bahar (Kinare' Kinare'). I counted six to indicate there are many more. Only solos listed here.

  • @nandu1f

Thank you Nandu ji for providing the list of your most liked Lata ji solo songs. All the songs are great.

  • What a Master piece song of Sahir sung by Lata one of her bestnubmer

I have sung thissong so many times, Very soothing heart touching song.

  • @Rammohan98

Thanks Rammohan ji for liking my presentation. Such songs are divine, and created by blessed souls.

  • This version, which is on record, is absolutely fantastic. But the filmed one (see posting by shreeji45555) sounds quite different and lacks the wistfulness of this version...Strange...

  • @Coucoutchicou

Thanks a lot for liking this version. This video has been created by me. Such a great and mesmerizing song needs equally enchanting beauty... Madubala, to complement each other.

  • loved the song.

    thanks for sharing

  • @mrsablu

    Thanks a lot for liking.

  • Ever since I have listened to this mesmerizing song, I have fallen in love with it. There must be something divine in this engrossing song which makes one relate to it. This is probably one of the finest songs ever composed. It can be considered one of the top 10 compositions of Hindi music.

The lyrics, music, singer and the fascinating video on Madhubala, complement each other perfectly. Let me describe this song and the video in one word –A MASTERPIECE.

  • @shazye1

Thank you for the beautiful comments. Waiting on a long- dim -moonlit night in a solitude is heart wrenching. Deep silent surroundings, Sky, drowsed Earth, Everybody sleeping. The teardrops that have pearled, like gleaming gems, like stars, in her gloomy eyes, The Moon, the wilderness and white clouds caressing the hill. The long night passes in anguish, till the dawn breaks. It is just a song that pierces into the heart like a spike.

    Thanks Mukhtar

  • Somehow, when the pleadings emanate from a beautiful and innocent face, even the bystanders queue up to offer support!

And when composition and singing is of this class, there is every chance of its success!

Madhu gets her Love floating in Mukhtar bro's clouds and romantic surrounds affording viewers a peep in too. Thanks so much.

  • @kchopra4080able

    Dear Chopra Ji,

I extend my gratitude for your insightful comments.

  • Mukhtar Bhai, you have weaved a magic by combining this haunting melody with the clips of Madhubala, the Beauty personified.

Your video assumes all the more importance in the light of the fact that this song was not included in the movie, as informed by tmjatala

I love this song all the more after viewing your creation.

  • @kuckudk

    Dear Sharma Ji

Thanks for writing so beautifully about my favorite song . According to me this song is perfect for beautiful, and graceful Madhubala who, you have rightly said, is beauty personified. She fits to the mood of the song.

If you listen this song 3-4 times, you become addict to it.

    Mukhtar

  • hi mukhtar wonderful & superb rendition.u r fan of madhubala & in most of ur work u hv superimposed madhu bala. this particular song a speculative magical creation of sahir & madan mohan with abyss aura & mailstrom words get shortened 2 xpress the feelings. nalini jaywant the heroin of railway plate form felt quite lonely after her husbands death & her sudden mysterious death was a gr8 agony 4 her fans. let her soul rest in eternal peace.

  • @jagjitisher

    Dear Jagjit ji

Your appreciation of my creations are always very encouraging. In fact you have been a constant source of inspiration and motivation to me. I am thankful for the finest responses and expressions. • This song never appeared on cellulite. All kudos to Mukhtar's creativity , which has reincarnated this song on you tube. It was the first time that this worth listening song became a watching pleasure for me .

  • @tmjatala

This information from you that this song never appeared on cellulite has given me an indescribable pleasure and satisfaction. I am obliged for your nice and worthy comments.

    Mukhtar

  • I am sorry I did not understand the idea ! You are very imaginative and I really appreciate that. It was just that I learned juts now that Nalini Jaywant died a sudden, mysterious and lonely death on Christmas eve , last week and I was struck with deep grief. She was my favourite star. I knew her well in India. I had met her and spoken to her several times. It was a very tragic end. May her soul rest in o peace,' Thanks for explaining.

  • Dear friend ! How could you make such a big mistake ? "Railway Platform" starred Nalini Jaywant ! Madhubala was nowhere there !

You have superimposed Madhubala's video, probably from "Mahal." there which just wont do ! Please do the needful correction !

    Thanks.

  • @yogaisgoogygoogy

    Dear Sir,

I do not think you have read the description of the song. I normally do not upload the film clips. I create them on my way. You are right, Madhubala is not in Railway Platform, Nalini Jewant is the heroin. I create the video how I visualize the song. All the songs on my channel are that way. Pl forgive me.

Very Happy new Year to you and your family.

    Mukhtar

  • Beautiful, Sahir at his best, thanks for loading.

  • Gosh! An intensity of romantic angst in sweet innocence defined in a powerful poetry in motion,...piercing hearts,...on, & off the screen!..as she implores her beloved to come, before those pangs of angst subside!..before it's too late!

Brilliant how an anguished longing in her eyes is captured @ 0:43 with creative precision of that teardrop; as she bemoans not being embraced by her beloved akin to those mountains in her vision, by the caressing clouds!

    MukhtarJi, Creative Genius!:)

  • Brilliant Lyrics-Sahir Ludhianvi, Beautiful Composition/Song With Most Sensational & Sentimental Expressions Of Divine Love-Nature In Agony, Despair, Longing, Tense & Pain Of The Soul Chand Madham Hai Aasman Chup Hai By Lata ji And Enchantingly Portrayed By Madhubala In The Scene. The Soft Pitched, Humble, Inner Moral Tone Of This Song Touched My Heart-Broke In Tears. The Speculative Theory Of SAD-Music Is Magnificent & YOUR Creation Is Just Amazing. Thanks For Sharing myvision22/mukhtar ji.

  • You have a great taste and exceptional talent Mukhtar Bhai. What a sweet and soothing song that descends down right into your soul. The soft images of Madhubala from "Aaye gaa aaney wala" have so beautifully and aptly been placed. Thanks and regards.

  • @sqhzaidi The scenes are from the song Mushkil hai bohat mushkil rather than Aaye gaa aane wala, both are Lata's famous melodies for the film Mahal.

  • @sqhzaidi

Dear Zaidi Sahib, You are right in both the cases. It is mixture of both the songs from Mahal. Thanks for the appreciation of my efforts.

    VERY VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR

    Mukhtar

  • Mukhtar bhai this is indeed a beautful song, and one of my favorites.Your effort in penning the lyrics is admirable,my salutations.Your video compilation is truly amazing.

  • Dear Mukhtar Sahib,

This is an excellent video compilation of "Chand Madham Hai" exactly matching the soul extracting poetry of Sahir, soul absorbing composition of Madan Mohan, the soul refreshing beauty of Madhu Bala and the spell binding melody of Lata's voice. Your conceptual genius and then the portrayal through your compilation forced me to hear this song again and again, and yet again and now it is absorbed in my soul. Thanks and please keep on the good work. Dr. Shahid

  • @srinagar49

I have repeatedly seen and heard this clip and it is really a masterpiece!

  • Chaand madham hai aasman chup hai,

neind ki god mein jahaan chup hai,

Music and silence have very strong relationship because music is done with silence, and silence is full of music. Lata's voice escorts us to an other planet where we see the things so blurry as behind the clouds and a moon appears in the form of beautiful Madhu Bala. This video clip and Sheikh Saab, your extra effort has made it divine. Thank you for sending it to my way.

    Regards,

    Shan

Often moon phase goes with the lovers mood of reunion and separation.

Chand Madham Hai...going in to the wane phase...so does the meeting of the lover diminish.
