  • I been riding sleds since I was 7 I'm 47 now

Do the math! I'm not loyal to any one brand

This year I went with the new Polaris Pro

I'm real happy with this sled so much so I'll be doing a snow check again on a 2012 and passing my 2011 on to my son. We ride in the big hills on Mount Baker Wa extreme climbs. Deep snow big fun sad to say last year was ridding a Doo and them cats was putting the hurt on us. Defiantly not the case this year loving the new Polaris!!!

  • trees are fer traction!

  • I agree with gittyins. 2009 and on sled manufacturers are all making good sleds.

it's all about what you want to ride

  • cant wait to ride with this guy jan

  • backcountryrebels sled forum

  • those arnt even close to being stock that would be the arctic cat m8 rtr

  • thanks god he moved to a differnt sled to get the mix going artic cat is still a great sled but so is polaris

  • yeah me and my friend switched sleds for a while i ride a m8 162 and he rides a dragon 800 155" it did seem the dragon was easier to turn in the deep powder, but i could out climb him up the steep hills with the m8

  • justiolong007--since you spelled Arctic incorrectly twice, that might take some of your credibility away...just sayin'...

  • The M series cats are the best mountain sleds out there hands down. Dragons are nice in really deep snow other than that they suk. XP are good but not nearly as nimble as an M 8 M7

  • too bad he rides a artcic CRAP anybody can do what he can do i dont know why everybody likes him so much??? artcic CRAP suck they always break dont... doesnt anybody agree with me????

  • Arctic cat is best and it will always be the best.

  • The only reason his runs good is because of the turbo he puts on it, We have outrun the cats all year on our skidoos, they dont even compare

  • Actually my New 2010 M8 Stock with an after market can is 162 HP and 457 LBS So I doubt youll out run me this year. This year DOOs have been seeing my tailgate all year. Sorry but 2010 was the chinese year of the CAT hands down. 2010 XP vs 2010 m8 the CAt will be DRAGON polaris up hill and pullin out SKI Doos all DAY AHHAHA Truth SON.

  • agree with you. Always when i go driving with my friends i only see broken skiidoos (: polaris and cat is best of the best !

  • well...i guess if hes been on an arctic cat for so long, theres no callenges going through the mountans with it. So hes prolly going to polaris cause they wont make it place arctic cat would, and i guess he just wants a challange:P

  • If you ask chris he wil tell you he switched cause Cat would not supply him with free sleds after he wrecked his. Polaris gave him a better paycheck and free sleds to destroy. Money and machines is why he switched not becasue Dragons are better, Money talks and bull shit walks. He was tired of Cats Bullshit. SIMPLE>

  • the reasion why there on arctic cats is because they would never be able to do any of that stuff on shit ski-doo, or polaris. The M series is the best mountan sled on the market. And there just getting better!

  • Amen!!!

  • @vjboy15 im a arctic cat fan myself, but if i remember right burandt switched to polaris jus this year but i am not positive

  • Comment removed

  • waste of talent riding arctic cats

  • mann get of the cats, skidoo is where its at

  • @snowmobiletoy SKI-DOO SUCKS!!!

my dads ski-doo cant go 10 miles without it blowing a fuse and me having to tow it home

  • Ya well my 2010 M8 just died 25 KMs in the mountains with no trail. We had m8 and m1 towing my m8 snowpro. Then I had to toboggan it down a 1000 face threw the trees. But of course I hit a tree now my sleds is messed up . Im pchoked at artcic cat right now.

  • @IveGotTheNuts- thats one 2010 cat thats done that. at least its not a 07 or 08 ski doo or polaris. all my friends that have them have had blown moters in under 500 miles

  • @snowmobiletoy yeah it`s definatly where it`s at considering all the bullshit the special main bearings are giving people. with skidoo`s not so specal sealed grease packed bearings.

  • OMG after watching this went and tryed everything he did on my Twin turboed M6! So Much Fun!!

  • Are you guys still riding Colorado now, 2009 any rides, Are you gonna continue next year 2010, If so can I get a Schedule for the days of the shoots and maybe come and try to watch, Ill leave the Zr 600 at home!

  • We are Filming in Colorado, Idaho, Utah and Montana.

If you sign up for one of RIDE RASMUSSEN STYLE . com Clinics or with BURANDTS BACKCOUNTRY ADVENTURE . com you will be able to be there when we are Filming the Next Movie.

Wait till you see what Burandt is doing on his POLARIS. Its SICK....

  • @DeviantSled Ya im sure Burandt could ride any sled and rock it. I have 2010 m8 snowpro and I tried my buddies Dragon. I have to admit when its deep the Dragon almost seems easier to turn in powder. I would not trade my m8 but I think people underestimate Dragons. The XP and m8 seems to rule the roost where I live in BC. I love your vids I wish I could ride with you guys some day.

  • Hahaha,...Iv'e been sledding in the Cariboo mountains for 15 years and there is no way the sleds from 12 years ago could go through the places that Chris is. 151 tracks came out on the market around 99. Now the longest is 171with 1000cc turboed engines. These sleds will go anywhere now.

  • yeah no... the longest track is a 174 and a 2000cc turbo sled

  • Who makes the 2000cc sled?

  • aftermarket guys with way to much money

  • @TurboBoony375 very true, 2000cc 2 stroke good luck with that stock in any chassis

  • @TurboBoony375 actually its not a 2000cc sled idk where u found tht out. but uh theres a bikeman 880 (ski-doo 1200) on c3 powersports with a 174 track.

  • the song is Kasabian - Club Foot :D

  • what song is this?!?!

  • can you boondock like this in the same exact place with a 2001 Artic cat zr 600 efi ? I know thats a M8 turbo with prob 160" track, but can it be done on the 600 zr efi?

  • its the m8 153 sno pro the 162s are way to big to be boondocking 153 is kinda big aswell i think 144 is the best type of sled to get

  • If you live in the praries or do not mind digging holes. Up in here in BC 152 is a short track LOL> A 144 and you see my snow flap all day. Besides we would all be pulling you out from getting stuck

  • Listen I ride an old SRX triple piped and ported with a peak head. Its a real PIG but im pushing around 150 HP. I still rock guys on brand new sleds DAILY> My sled is a tank but ive been riding sleds 36 years. I took my friends M8 out one day in REVELSTOKE. Peeps were like how did you turn up hill like that and how the hell did you get up there. It all the rider SIMPLE. it is all about the rider. Good riders make bad sleds look GOOD bad riders make new sleds look BAD > TRUTH

  • if u know how to do it u can u just might get stuck easier with the shorter track

  • Absolutely not

  • boondocking that hard does it effect the sled?

  • depends on your type of sled but usually to boondock like that you need a sled that can do it so id say no

  • u need a sled with nut and a long good track. and ya u cold kill your sled if u pushed it too hard.

  • OH FOR SHITS SAKE. Honestly, who cares about which brand is better. They all have their strong points and weaknesses. The point is that mobbin on any sled makes us happy in the nether regions right? So get over yourselves, shut the shit up and tear up powder. SLEDNECKS UNITE

  • Its the rider not the sled unless its a TURBO>

  • oh you know those fuckers arn't stock :)

  • Half the movie is shot on STOCKERS.

    No Joke

  • i drive ski doo and a summit is more agile in powder but i think m8 is so much funnier to drive! :D

  • i own arctic cat. i love it because it got so good handling and nice thortle response :)

  • I just ordered the movie and a shirt thanks cant wait .

  • wow at 1:30, thats some serious hillsiding

  • I don't see how people say that arctic cat sucks, if the best in the bussiness are using them they are obviously good.

  • i know :P (im a Arctic cat/ski-doo fan) people just say polaris ripps and yamaha sucks because they have parents that thougth them to ride on a polaris, they first sled was a polaris etc etc... that was just and example so you know it. Same thing as football teams xD

  • yeah, but I say AC all the way. like you said, a cat was my first sled. and I just bought my own sled this year. 02 Mountain 800 151'

  • hehe i say AC all the way too, too bad Norway has so many laws about snowmobiles.... :P

  • my first sled was and bombardier but arctic cat for life!!!!its not my parent choice its my..good exemple but on my own arctic cat is forever..!

  • they say that cat suck cause they only drive other kind..they listen people saying that they getted an arctic cat who broke down but they never drived one!!!

  • haha even tho drived isn't a word. but yeah I agree.

  • ok..sorry for the bad english..im not one..

  • 1:30 to 1:50 tech? u mean the whole video

  • It says in the vid. Kasabian - Club Foot

  • 1:30-1:50 TECH!!!!!!!!!

  • AWSOME these guys are the sickest mountain riders around can't wait to buy this movie.

  • Should be up in a few days. I hope.

  • when you get the site up give me the adress and I'll order from ya
