This download data, and the cell carrier see's it as data, such as browsing safari, or downloading an app. They cant charge extra for tethering, since they can't see your tethering.

no you can downgrade

just gotta download the firmware you need from felixbruns (google it) and in itunes hold shift and THEN click on restore and you should get a pop up to browse to the firmware file you just downloaded, then let it restore to whichever firmware you downloaded :)

This guy is very right!! I've been using the MyWi App for quite some time now it always have wireless internet on my laptop and on all my home computers. Free and unlimited!!! As far as draining your battery in about 1hr, but even thats nonsense when all you have to do is keep it plugged up and drain nothing. Using it for hrs on end.........Hahahahaahah!
