it makes a change, im not usually a kylie fan, but seeing that this video is not overpowered by poptastic styles such as vibrant colours and floaty girly outfits e.g. the way her In My Arms video looks, Kylie is essentially attracting fans which wouldn't normally be interested in her songs. I for one, think this plain s/m style video (with Marco Da Silva), has attracted a whole different crowd. She hass added depth and as JustThinkPhil said, you get to pay more attention to the beautiful song.

Think this is the problem. Shes trying to rush everything because of the tour.

The whole X album promotion has been rushed.

She should have toured next year instead and concentrated on taking time to promote X properly around the world and make decent videos.

America promotion was rushed. Wow video was rushed. This video has been rushed. Wrong choice for 1st single (2 hearts, although i liked it, it seems not many people did)

This is the wrong video choice for such a lovely song.

Perhaps Kylie is taking the totoroise and the hare route. Slow and Steady wins the race. She needs to raise awareness of who she is in USA, all the things going right and wrong, may just be part of a tactic to get noticed. She doesnt have a Major Record Label in US yet, Capitol doenst have much sway with MTV and Most Radio stations. Kylie needs to promote herslef there as a beginer and she is doing it that way.

Making a simple video implies to new viewers that she is starting from scratch.

im glad someone that is seeing exactly how it is. SHe wasnt given enough time. I think that the promotion in the states was very half ass. And this wasnt a good first single to be released here in the states. It is getting no radio play. The album should have been released the same time it was released worldwide. Capital records is screwing the u.s.fans. Because since she isnt selling her cd's here like everywhere else, she wont come here. Whch pissed me off.

This video was shot in 2 hours, I like the basic style of video. You buy Music becauese of the song, not how many "tricks" are in the video. This is clever because on MTV rotations it will actually stand out as its so simple and not trying to hard!!!
