@motorwolrdpl usually because they are chipped. Common misconception, diesels usually burn cleaner than a regular gas pickup or car.

The 7.3L can be found in some early 03 superduty's. Ford had to put them in while they debated with International (Navistar) about the contract for the 6.0L motors.....OR it could be a project 99-02 with an 03-07 front end conversion cause I did notice the Harley headlights.

the cummins domination days are behind them. the 6.4 power stroke is sending you dodge and chevy boys home crying because they make so much power with just an intake, exhaust and chip. they are running mid 12's to mid 13's with just those 3 upgrades. how many duramaxs or cummins can do that with those upgrades? and they are the best at pulling too

nahh its not.. they had the style with barly any change from i think 2000.. i think thats a 00 or 01... the 03.5 was the last year of the 7.3 the last half of 03 was the start of 6.0's until i think 2007 or 2008

Nope Jared, they do. They are pretty popular for the Cummins, supposed to help gain 2-3mpg I believe.

@95chevyboy becuase a cam in a diesel doesnt exactly give you the gains such as when you do a cam on a gasser. a cammed diesel just moves your powerband up in the rpm so good for sled pulling and what not. it also helps clean up black smoke. camming DD diesels is still pretty new for the most part and people are gaining info on them and out weighing the gains.
