  • dalek poster dalek by the tv who could ask for more

  • @pippedatthepostpro How about a life size Dalek in the foyer of my living room? Check out my other videos to see the monster

  • @pippedatthepostpro The video "Trying to trick an eight year old" is my favourite one staring my life size Dalek

  • Very cool! Do you regulate the humidity and air quality for that room in particular?

  • BANK CEOS LOVE THIS GUY

  • @SOLIDSNAKEXXX360 So does your Mom ; )

  • nice

  • I dont think there are any videos on youtube about it but go to ebay and type in Triple (3) CGC Graded Comic Book Frame Display , and you should see what im talking about. kinda pricey but mabey they can help you out and do somthing custom for ya or at least a deal!

  • @813pappo I've seen those on Ebay for years - I'd need a giant sheet of the stuff from Home Depot or something, if I can find it...

  • You can always get that uv ray glass off eBay and make a custom frame to protect the cgc comics!! Nice!!

  • @813pappo I've never seen any of this UV ray glass - if you find a video here on youtube with it, can you send me a link? I'm thinking that's a pretty awesome idea, actually

  • the room looks great

  • very jealius!!!

  • That is a awesome room

  • Nice collection I wanted to do that but the sunlight can faded the color of the comics by time.

  • Space the comic about an inch or two ( the distance they are apart from the rows.....will look sweet

  • Where should i sell my comic books? i got the batman #6 1st batmobile back in the late 60's. just wondering what store or wherever i could sell it at. thanks and i love your collection!!!!

  • @hamoan66boi Any comic book store will look at your comic, grade it, tell you the value in that condition and then rip you off by offering you half or even less then half the value. Selling it privately usually will bring you the most bang for your buck but then you might have disagrements on the actual grade of the book - if you have them CGC'd like mine, there's no arguing on what the grade is.

  • @DJdeadlyDALEK Ok thanks!

  • Looks great

  • Looks awesome

  • dude your room is awesome

  • Looks great! I'm not sure I would put my graded books on the wall. I love the cabinet though!

  • is that a cerebus #5 around 14 seconds?

  • @74Paxxx That's number eight in 9.8 I also have a number one in 7.0, a number four in 9.0 and a number six in 9.4 but no, no number five : (

  • Nice room!

There is NO WAY I would put my CGC books up on a wall like that.

    But.....more power to ya.

    They look great!!!!!

  • @jsullivan26 If you just keep them in a box, you'll rarely see them. Gotta have some kind of display for them - what if you got yourself a cabinet like mine (that's where I keep the expensive one's like FF #5 and Spidey #6)?

  • looks hella tight, now cover the empty spaces and paint the ceiling with a sistine chapel kinda thing with wolverine and whoever created him.

  • nice room man i think the shelves look retarted a little bit but thats just an opinion when i get a room like that i might just frame them not individualy of course but yeah it might look retarted to its just an opinion though other than that it looks awsome sicc ass colletion though dude

  • Very impressive.

  • I wish i had that much room for my comics.

  • @Hoshang2 I wish I had ANOTHER room to go with this one. I now have twice this number of CGC comics but no more wall space!

  • you should add a coat of paint.

    and seperate the shelves.

  • its good

  • Can I come live in that room? Lol =D.

  • Are you at all fearful that the shelve might give in and fall? Nothing spells sorrow more than your CGC's cracked broken and the comics within downgraded. Still it's more entertaining than mine. I keep them locked in foot lockers away from all light sources.

  • @MarkFaust No, it's been three years since I first set up my first shelves and I regularly rotate in new CGC's - I'm more fearful my kids will knock them down, but they don't play down there and when they do come down stairs, they like to look but know better then to touch.

  • Dude that set up is bad ass!!!! Did you leave it the same? Anyways awesome stuff, i think im gonna have to shelf up my cgc comics. Thanks for the inspiration lol.

  • its cool man but ..do you read those comics ?

  • sweet

  • Looks good bud, nice job man!

  • should do it all around that walls if youre gonna do it or atleast around that corner, it would look alot better imo

  • It always looks cool having books displayed on walls like that. I'm not sure how you got your books or what you paid for them, but I see a lot of wasted money having $2-$5 books being slabbed. You can find many of those books still ungraded in the 9.6-9.8 range for cheap if you look.

  • Yeah, I already have unslabbed copies of all of these. These aren't for reading.

  • I love how you set them up! Very organized. The basement is a good place for them, cuz theres no diirect sunlight hitting them. Great collection, check out mine

  • Amazing set up! did you change it or did you leave it the way it was? Also can you do a short video of your CGC comics? thanks =) 5 stars!

  • Hey man, just click on my name and you'll see at least five or six vids of my CGC collection. The one with all the daleks zoomin' by is the latest one (it has all the CGC's I've aquired from January to August of 2009. All the other vids are of CGC's from before that date. Enjoy!

  • Thanks for the super fast response. I will check them out now thanks

  • Great idea to show the comics on your basement wall. You can really appreciate the colors on the covers. Do you have silver age Avengers in your collection?

  • No, for Silver Age, I only have some Spidey's, some FF's, a couple X-men, one Captain A and the pride of my collection: four file copies of The Twilight Zone from the random house archives in 9.4 and 9.6

  • where do you get the shelves from

  • I bought them from The Home Depot

  • nice lookin TV. also, when I get a few more CGC comcis I want to have them on display like this in my room but its not a basement so I'm worried about fading. advice?

  • Before our first daughter was born, I had my comics up in a bedroom (these were regular comics, before I got into CGC) and it had a lot of natural sunlight coming in from the windows and the covers lost about 50 - 80% of their brightness in only a YEAR! So, either use thick curtains to block out the sunlight during the day or hunt for another spot in your house where they won't get much light on them. Indirect sunlight can be bad as well, but no where near as harmful as direct sunlight.

  • behold..the ROOM OF VIRGINS! DUH DUH DUUUUUHHHHH

  • Dude, I'm married and have two kids, thanks.

  • OWNDDDDD

  • nooooooo no no no

  • Ja, ja, ja, ja, jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • nice room

  • beautiful wall... this beats the BERLIN WALL... No Doubt.. Check My Channel If U can...

    Good Vid...

  • The wall only shows abot 1/4 of my CGC's...check out my other vids for more

  • Hey Bud, looks awesome, I like the long wall because the comics look sweet and never ending. Keep 'em coming and rock the pool table too man!

  • OK, I'll work on it this afternoon and I'll pop something up showing everyhthing I've gotten this year (there's a handfull of new one's in this video that you can see on the wall, like Silver Surfer #1)

  • nice keep it show us ur new books

  • New issues are up! Check the latest video titled Doctor Who and the CGC Daleks!

  • looks pretty damn good =) are you still collecting more CGC's? if so which new ones do you have?

  • You have my dream basement lol.

It looks better continuous, that's just my opinion though.

    :]

  • just wondering if you use any kind of special lighting? do you worry about fading?

  • No, I don't even have the lights on down there. The TV creates enogh light at night to see and during the day, I get in-direct sunlight flitering in from the windows. You just don't want your comics to come in contact with direct sunlight because that will fade and/or yellow in them in less then six months flat.

  • I like it
