i got a B&M torkmaster in my chevelle and i cant even come close to launching it at 2.8k i have to launch at like 2 and i cant get on the pedal till i get to like 25 mph or she loose grip and spin. what kind of tires you using? i need drag radials i think.
@mastaajbomb In the video its 315 BFG Drag radials, the tires you use will make a huge difference. I still spin when they are cold or on the street. On a track with proper prep they put up 1.7 sixty foots, could be better too.
@2000NBMTA yeah im running the tires that came with the car. rediculous spin. i warmed mine up and dumped it without letting off at all to get back traction and i ran 14.6. still beat the new VW i was racing hahaha

Why would it slow down my ET's? You clearly don't understand what it does. Regardless if you do or don't, it hasnt slowed me down and brought me into bottom 12's with little mods. Once the car is tuned, and I get some better tires, with a little luck I could possibly see 11.999 with STOCK heads and cam.
@2000NBMTA i have a v8 camaro and i had a dodge stealth and have been in my friends 500hp car and there is no way your going faster then a corvette at 11.99 with those few mods

Its doing what it can for cold DR's in this video. On a track I manage 1.6x 60 ft times, the setup really needs more sidewall and a little taller tire to come out of the hole harder. Thanks for checking it out though.

Tranny has not been rebuilt. Just has a transgo shift kit and the stall. No cooler yet and its still running strong, been in over a year and DD'd. Not that I recommend anyone to run without a cooler, I don't drive in any traffic or hot temps. Just to and from work a few miles a day.

no actually you add a stall kit, on an automatic car you have a torque converter witch will have a certain point that it will allow the engine rpm to rise above the input shaft speed of the transmission. All a stall does is raise the RPM of the engine more into its power band and holds it there for a longer period of time, BETTER LAUNCH. They create alot of heat in the trans witch makes them burn more fuel also. Unless your at highway speeds all the time..

So far without the tune the best I have run is 12.30 on bald DR's. I should be heading out the spring with the tune to get the right times out of the car.
Yeah, its still holding up, I haven't had too much track time on it but it has been DD for most of this winter. Only thing I did to the rear end was the 3.73's.

It does lock below 4k. When the tranny is warm I can drive it like a normal car once I am above about 30mph.
