raggedstar! i have advice! if you pushed triange ( if you have it for the playstation one, like me!) at the end of your glide, he rises up a it and you can get to ledges like that!

If you mean the hover, that's a feature that's introduced in the following games. If you press triangle in this game, Spyro does a butt-dive straight down (which would send you into the pit instead of inching you up on a ledge).

Those dogs are easy to beat if you know the right technique. Basically all you have to do is get close to them, but not enough to make them jump at you. Flame them and wait for them to get up and begin to jump at you. As they begin to jump, jump into the air and quickly flame. If done right, the flames should hit the dog before they hit you. I've learned this technique a few years ago and always use it in Toasty's level. I only get hit if I make a mistake, like in timing or something.

TLOS isn't too bad, but for different reasons. Regardless, Insomniac's Spyro was still much better, and for sure, younger Spyro looked eww.

I think the weird music only happens if the game is one of those bad rips of Spyro 3 (patched, since if it wasn't, you couldn't beat the game). A lot of tracks are messed up, like Crystal Islands and Evening Lake. That's the kind of game my recording was using. I have actual hard copies of the games, but my computer lags badly when using them.

That's normal, but I put it in because it was funny lol. All of the dragons in Gnasty's worlds you released before (such as Lateef from Dream Weavers in Gnorc Cove). Not sure how they got themselves trapped again though (and why they count as other dragons in the counter).

All of the clips are pre-recorded (though I do remember what I say/think when I played though). I played the games on my computer and recorded with Camstudio. Took the clips, brought them into Vegas (and Windows Movie Maker) and overlapped me speaking.

I used an emulator and ROM (though I think it's possible to use an actual copy of the game). I've been looking for months in used game stores to find the original Spyro games. Too old for the regular stores, not old enough for the retro stores.

I love the original sypro. It is so much better than the newer ones which totally destroyed Spyro and the glitches were so funny you found them. Bestmaker was so hilarious to play because you don't really have a freaking set path! xD! The first Spyro - the best. Oh God that fairytale level drove me MAD.

The level is actually called Treetops. Beastmakers was the homeworld. But ya, the fact that you don't have a clearly defined path is what's so confusing. No path + chasms of doom + supercharge = hardest level in the game.

Definitely the hardest level in the game - and the levels (I don't bother learning their names) with the explosives? I thought I'd generally kill myself playing that. And those crappy ass dogs that squish you. This brings back a lot of good memories - I may set my old Play Station console up and play it again!
