Call me bat crazy, but I think even this early 80's miniseries has too fast pacing. Things get sinister way too quick. But at least it has some exposition on Visitor culture and the possibility of friendly relations before things get ugly. The new V had next to nothing on this department, which consequently deflated most of the tension.

Way back when I read the novelization of the series and it is said that Diana has an "insatiable" appetite with sexual contact with both human females and males. Kinda creepy. (Wonder if she is that way within her own species.) Obviously they could only allude to it in a prime time series.
