  • Hey there I know this is an older video but was hoping to get a couple of answers from you both!! Thanks for the video BTW. How many prefolds did you have? How long did you end up using this system? Thanks soooo much in advance for any answers you can give!

  • I am looking into using gdiapers with my next baby......with the disposible insert did you have many leaks....what brand prefold was that? Could I do flusable with prefold or hemp insert underneath for nap/overnight? any info greatly would help thanks :)

  • Hubby's a pro. Love it.

  • can you really use Viva paper towels as an insert? How many would you need to use?

  • Precious baby girl and great video. I like the hemp liner inside the chinese prefold. Great idea!

  • Hi jaydensmommy - Thanks for your comment.

I think the diapers are indeed bigger than a disposable diaper but i wouldn't classify them as a bulky. The difference is more like the difference in leggings and jeans. There's a little more fabric but it's doesnt hinder walking, sitting or look funny. The G's did give Ava a distinctive "duck bottom" depending on the pants but it was very a problem. As matter of fact, because she was so little, it made her easier to hold. lol . Hope you love them

  • awesome video!!! I have a quick question. Are these diaper bulky when you use the cloth inserts??

  • My husband and I are definitely going to use them when we start our family. I have a friend who uses the gPants with her own cloth inserts. She loves them. I think it's great that they have a better disposable option.

I'm glad to hear they're working well for you. It's always good to get reviews from lots of different people. And good on ya for choosing something better for the earth as well as for your baby! :D

  • They do have a chemical in them. It's called Sodium polyacrylate. Check the website. (don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of gDiapers, but you might want to make sure know what is in it.)

  • Hello Jenniguin. Thanks for your comment.

You are correct. Wifey did mis-speak when she said the flushables have "no chemicals." She should have said that have less chems then the average brand. Truth be told we never use the flushables anymore. It's just easier to stick with the g and just change her at the next stop if were on a road trip. (Just my two cents).

But thanks for your comment. gDiapers rock!

  • Thank you SOOOOO MUch for this I have been searching online how to fold a darn prefold for the G-and here it was

thank you and God Bless..Oh you baby Girl ADORABLE!!!!

  • Thank you! We love our G's and good luck.

  • Your daughter is adorable. I just bought G Diapers for my unborn daughter due in 2 weeks, and I planed on useing them the same way by puting the cloth in it also even tho its made for disposables. How many of the actuall diapers do you think I need? I have hundreds of the prefolds already.

  • I have never tried g diapers I only use cloth daipers but I think I might get some g diaper covers and stuff them with prfolds like you do. You should save some money and use cloth wipes to as long as you are washing the prefolds already you can just throw the wipes in the wash with the prefolds. baby wash cloths work great for wipes.

  • You should. There great and you save so much money.....
