Dwarvish units potentially have the most armor of all races. and the lowest initiative of them all, you have to wait for everyone to hit you and only then you have a chance at them. but then again, they have the most armor of them all.

in my opinion the strongest party in all the game is dwarf warrior and 5 outcasts (war 4 water all field). short xp to next lvl. slows down the enemy. 6 targets. warriors - like high hp.

Disciples 2 and 3 are awesome games but not chalenging. U can easilly finish campaings within 10 hrs top and scenarios within even 5 at highest difficulty. Nevertheless this is a brilliant game which I, personally, recomend to all RPG fans :)

@MsMorphic I did but the problem is not units moving faster but waiting for the computer to decide its next action, you just wait and nothing happens at all. No units are moving nothing is happening.

Disciples 2 is an awesome game my only problem is that it is very slow, at the last stages the computer takes several minutes just to decide what it will do and you can only wait for it, a lot of times there is more time spend waiting than actually playing.

Had disciples sacred lands for years now. Just broke down and spend 25 dollars for Disciples 2 gold pack that comes with dark prophecy and the 3 packs that go with it ^^ aka the whole disciples 2 collection.

I tried this out and it was nice, i like turn based strategy games alot, but the fighting, it lacks strategy ;( only bash and hope you kill them before they do ;o

@Trancion Personally, its story, graphics (i like them alot >.>) Character art, the narrator just plain kicks ass, and the audio (the combat sound effects, and the music) is just awesome :o

u may have a point about the combat, but tbh i never expect much in terms of combat ina turn based game >.>

no you are wrong about 2 things... You dont have experience problems cuz rune masters require 3000 gold for last structure while king requires 4500 -> you make them faster... Healing is problem, but dwarves always got this problem...

and son of Ymir has FROSTBITE that's whe he does more than 300 actually he can make 600 dmg... 300 strike and then 300 frostbite each turn... besides it is not reduced from armor.. so it does pure damage to castle guardian... the best thing for me

not bad and for a mission probably the best buut.. I think dwarves are most powerful using this : 2 rune masters 1 son of ymir give attack buffer and guild master hero or mage hero...

in the end give attack on rune master measn 4 slashes and when he does max damage it is 4x300=1200 Frostbite on 78 lvl Ymir does about 120 and can kill even a Castel guardian in no time... You can still have up to 70 armor and insane damage....

this party would have a really big problem with healing, you would not achieve levels fast, because of that 2 rune masters, sparing valuable time in castles and healing units....and son of ymir cant have more powerful attack than 300, so I would rather use 2 tempest giants(or ymir depends on map), 1 rune master or dwarf king, mage hero...units with many hp are treated more quickly

If i remember correctly i had a Kings Guard as leader(tanking abilities on dat one is great) and perhaps two of those meleé-units and a arch-druidess.

I like your squad. I never wanted to play dwarvish mage leader (to slow!). With The elder one your AoE damage is superior and with rune masters your single target damage is not low. However I would take alchemist rather than archdruid :P

I would take alchemist only if my unit's damage get over 200. Don't forget the alchemist has only 20 initiative and the archdruid 70 (not sure if 75). I'd rather inflict a great amount of damage in the very begining.

They are in the same group all the time and they all level up together. In fact, the only way to get such odd numbers it to level up. Hope this helps.

u dont understand, i literally just fuckin beat this campaign like a fuckin week ago cept all the same member and accually had same units as u and i didnt hit anywhere near fuckin 750hp for titan and fuck high 400's for the dwarf attackin dudes this is used with cheats

When a unit cannot switch to a new class, it continues to level up when it gains enough experience. I cleaned up the whole map, including the enemies' capital. It's tedious but with all the Legion's and Dwarves' armor and attack boost, you can take out a capital. That how I get lots of XP, and get them to level up like crazy. Hope this helps.

still doesnt do shit, cap is 1 lvl.... titan starts with 500 hp urs has 750, a lvl hp goes up by i believe 20ish and attack by 25 i think, so even if u cleared the entire place titan still wont reach that much hp, not to mention he takes i believe either 5k or 3k just accept that u used cheats and i wont have to discuse the fact anymore

and funny how u dont right click so we can see stats and lvl this is still with cheats no way in frozen hell u can get that much xp, and another thing is about the grouping xp is divided, at the end of this i had to go threw around a quarter map killing things with just my hero and my titan and i killed everything on every lvl except for 1 of thee starting ones

I never use dwarf warriors, i like to have 2 sons of ymir, 1 engineer and 1 girl that gives 100% damage boost (forget her title).

nice formation, I also prefer Rune Masters than Dwarf King (considering the fact they are cheaper makes them even more desirable:), but I have one remark - although you have the tons of armour, haven't you ever noticed, that when having choice of two similar units, the PC attacker chooses the upper one? So in this case if you boost first the lower dwarf, the Wyrm would poison the upper anyway, and in the next turn you will cure and boost him, having boosted the two Runics without poison applied

Yeah i hate that, when you start of and you take a battle which you scrape out of winning, you always end up with the unit up there dying, so he doesnt keep up with the group, so its hard to fight stronger enemies without him dying even more, quite annoying

On the map, there should be shops selling the Legion's spell which boost Initiative. Watch out for scrolls and potions as well.

Disciples 2 is one of the best strategy games... however i cannot say the same for Disciples 3. No undead, no mountain clans. The units will move in battle like in heroes. The legion of the damned looks ugly. The game will probably want a very strong pc because the most of the latest trailers are running slow at times. So i guess that they ruined it this time. That`s what happens when you do things for money, not with your heart.

geez', Disciples 3 WILL HAVE the undead and mountain clans campaigns as soon as the addons appear. The addon for the undead hordes was announced for December 2010, or so I've heard.

Even Disciples 2 had more than 2 addons, and even a stand-alone one that included a new race: the elves. So this wasn't really a mystery or at least something new.

Even StarCraft 2 - Wings of Libery has only one out of three races for campaigns, just humans.

The characters are well made and i like how they shorten most of the things like less kind of resources and the city look simple + you can convert the other places you capture to your race and the heroes evolve and their armor change something that disciples 3 wanted to shine with but they messed it up.
