@GroffinTiffin Mr. Paice wanted that "BIG" crash cymbal sound. That's why he opted for the 22" and 24" Paiste 2002 crash cymbals. When you strike one you hear a "BIG" CRASHING SOUND!!! A triple "F" in musical terminology. Meaning: very, very loud!!!
What's the point of comparing Paice and Bonham when they were the superior in their ways ? What Paice lacks in heavy he rules in delicate swing, and what Bonham lacks in finesse (which is VERY little compared to Paicey)) evens up with his superior multible triplets playing the BD. Neil Peart has nothing to do with these 2 giants.
@HellbarClub hahaha!! " Neil Peart has nothing to do with these 2 giants.."
without doubt the best thing I've read/ heard EVER!!!!! it's true! I'm always left wanting "more" when listening to Rush, although I love their songs and geddy's bass playing!
IAN .........such a talented person......I'm hearing you since 1972....still noone came closer to your groove , feeling , pasion , dynamics...........uff a long list
No way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
