WOW... i own a X360 and i'm impress how this game was so high tech for 1997. This gigantic "fire fossil" boss is incredible and the 3D effects are state of art. I can't believe this games is not famous. Music 10 - Effects 10 - Play 10!

And for those wishing to play this gem again; Why not simply download the game and play it on an emulator or chipped psx? Developers don't gain anything from resells - especially from games that are over a decade old. Still, this doesn't make pirating right - but it's not as bad as downloading a game that was just released and raping it's revenue.

The presentation of every boss is so grandiose - I love it. And the special attack always gives you a nice adrenaline every time you use it against a boss. How many games can accomplish such excitement from such linear gameplay?

That's why I love old school shooters like this. Here's hoping that the new g-darius for the psp has the same feel as the old g-darius games.

I love G-Darius so much! Finally managed to get hold of a copy but for some off-key reason the controls screw up when trying to play on the PS3. It's not just a case of it suffering from input-lag, it actually keeps sending random input commands so that you can't even control the craft.

To everyone inquiring on how to do the massive Alpha Beam (yes, the blue laser).

Once Fire Fossil fires his Beta Beam (the purple laser), you should fire yours.

Mash madly on the shoot button (_not_ the rapidfire button) to absorve his beam; yours will double in size and strength.

Fire Fossil will fire four lasers. Absorb them all, and you will gain the fourfold Alpha Beam, the giant blue laser seen at the end. Fries basically anyhting.

And I agree with the comment on the great Soundtrack.
