@iPCAdministrator Cyanogen is definetely faster than stock. It is actually more stable at times too. I wouldnt reccommend it for the everyday user, but only for the more tech savvy. The rooting process is easy, but unreversable on the Nexus. Have fun!!

i just baught my nexus one and it came rooted so how would i go about updating my Cyanogen version

@johnnyxlayer if you already have cyanogen running, just download the new version, put it on the root of your sdcard and reboot into recovery, using the power button + the volume down button at the same time while the phone is off and wait until you get to recovery. If you wanna make it really easy on yourself. Go to the Market and download CM Updater and it will download updates for you. Check out a video I made some time ago on how to use the CM Updater. If you need more help just ask.

yup, you need root to change the rom on any android phone

hey man cool video, the reason your trackball skip isn't working is because you also have trackball wake enabled. You can't have them both on at the same time and if you do, trackball wake takes precedent.

@bozardio The conversation part of the Messaging app now has an option for a black background. The thread portion is still the same.

you dont actually have to reboot for the percentage in battery to change as soon as it changes state gets higher or lower itll turn off ive never had to reboot

@xabrixxx thats wierd. Everytime i changed that setting, I had to reboot for it to go away. I just tried it again and it was the same way. Did you have to wait a couple minutes for it go away, or was it instant?
