Try fighting him with a wizard. The rock fall of a wizard can 2 shot the dragon, but if you have the ice axe and are semi high level, one shot.

Unfortunately, we all know that it wouldn't be that easy to kill a Red Dragon, since it would be using more of its natural weapons than breathe or magic against such a small creature. Needless to say, this was still and awesome game.

For some reason i feel that the dreamcast version of Gauntlet Legends is so much better than Dark Legacy to me the dreamcast version seems more like the arcade game.

this is an other version then what i have but how do you know what the dragons gonna do cause you always seem to know whta attack he's gonna use

The dragon has a pattern.

The order that he uses his attacks are also dependent on how much life he has.

It takes practice to know and see what's coming before deciding to evade or block.

also, how you use the Axe of Untar? Is it automatically used when you get to the boss or do you have to select it?

It is used automatically once you have it and start fighting the dragon.

Dude everytime i try and use the ice axe it goes like behind the drgaon and spins for a few seconds but has no affect

I found out the ice axe is in the Castle realm, but how can access to the Castle realm before defeating the Dragon in the Mountain realm?

Find all 3 obelisks in the Mountain Kingdom.

how do you get the ice axe? do you have to find it in a level?

a great way to kill the dragon easily and fastly is to

1:use legendary item (which you did)

2: stand in between his legs he barely hits you.

This weapon freezes the dragon AND does damage, I didn't know it hurt him.
