  • very original!!

  • This is a haunting interpretation, very original. Really great.

  • Brilliant cover & brilliant video!

  • @JCMcGee

Thank you Jimmy... beware the bulls in Spain... but get stuck into the tapas

  • You shall see a... a cow... on the roof of a cotton house, ha. And, oh, so many startlements. I cannot tell you how long this road shall be, but fear not the obstacles in your path, for fate has vouchsafed your reward. Though the road may wind, yea, your hearts grow weary, still shall ye follow them, even unto your salvation.

  • @uke5417

Be careful of them syreens. They might get you loved up and turned into a horny toad.

  • This video is of special interest to me as I was born and raised in Portsmouth, Ohio, an Ohio River town. The flood of 1937 was one of the worst in its history, most towns along the Ohio River were inundated by the flood. And, I also always thought it was "There's a bathroom on thr right...!!! Ha! Ha! Ha!

  • @WhenDogsSing

There was another movie in the archive which specifically covered the floods in Philadelphia but it was only under 3 minutes so I could not use it. Interesting footage when you consider the more recent floods in New Orleans.

  • Gold!

  • @mctrmt

No you are the gold 24 carat

  • I guess some English defendants in the 19th century pled guilty to crimes blaming the full moon for their misdeeds. The next full moon is April 28th in case you need an alibi. Enjoyed this!

  • @DearOldNutjob

Yeah I read somewhere that during full moons the crime rate increases, and another report that a bright light at night causes sleep deprivation and people get cranky and do strange things.

By the light of the silvery moon to my honey i'll croon loves tune.

Guess you could blame falling in love on the moon as well :-)

  • i was in a gang once called the moonatics, we were the loons from the moon

  • @krabbers

Was that an off-shoot of the moonies who went in for the mass marriage thing in the 80's

  • Cool rendition! Great video to go along with the music!

  • @keonepax

Since the SIDEBAR has gone you can now find a link to the original movie in the INFOSPACE below. It is titled Man against the river.

If you are looking for public domain movies or clips to go along with your music then you have a large selection in that archive.

  • Thanks for the info! That's handy to know!

  • great sounds! excellent version

  • @kennymelodica

I put that cow standing on the water TWICE just for you... It looked like something out of "brother where art thou" Surreal

  • Great rendition! I turn into a weregopher when the moon is full. Aroooooo!

  • @russbuss415

Better than a were-caterpiller... just when you are about to eat a big juicy cabbage leaf you wind up in a cocoon and emerge sometime later as a butterfly and all your brasica munching teeth are gone... replaced by a proboscis

  • @weegingayin mmm juicy cabbage...

  • Incredible version! Brilliant.

  • @floydbluethereal

I thought that you had done this number as well... but now I can't find it.

  • @weegingayin I played it many times in the last decades, but I never recorded it with the ukulele. But I should do it, when I have some time again.

  • My sister thought it was "There's a bathroom on the right".

  • @UKISOCIETY

    Did she have a lithp?
