@adnanabbasi1992 shields at middleweight with his wrestling and ju-jitsu could dominate silva but the question is could he get silva down in time because shields has awful stand up and could easily get knocked out you saw how fragile he was against Kampann. In all honestly Kampann beat himself Shields was rocked had no energy left but for some reason instead of finishing the job standing Kampann decided to take it to the ground where shields is so superior and lost the fight from there.

@adnanabbasi1992 I'm not looking past shields but he hasn't fought better guys than GSP has. The only massive fighter Shields has fought is Dan Henderson and got an impressive win. But even with his impressive winning streak it's possible but I still find it hard to see him beating GSP.

Well, given the controversy of his taking testosterone shots before the fight w/o proper paperwork or notification followed by his suspension from the UFC until the felony charges against him are resolved, it's going to be a while before he shows his face again. Besides, given Silva's dominant performance against Belfort, make Sonnen and Belfort go at it. If Chael walks through Belfort as easily as Silva did, he can claim that he deserves his rematch.

Look at how fast Silva jumped back up after he was taken down by Belfort, GSP will get destroyed standing up with Silva and don't argue about that everyone knows it. GSP could not submit Hardy a fully locked in armbar, yet he could not do it because he was forgetting the most simple things. I want GSP to win, but I believe Silva is just better, the guy has a black belt in some african combat dancing thing LOOOL, and thats what makes him unpredictable

@gurvinderdhinsa Yellow rope and Silva is good but he's always faced one dimensional fighters it'll be interesting to see how he deals with a fighter that is even more well rounded then he is and GSP isn't a joke with submissions he's a BJJ black belt and he subbed Matt Hughes who is pretty damn good at submissions and he was passing BJ Penn's guard easy and that is supposed to be the best one in MMA.

@TrollChief94 yea I already know of GSP's success, but when you move up it's completely different for the fighter, he won't be throwing Silva around like he does in the welterweight divison.GSP is amazing no doubt about that, but Silva has a better chin way more ko power and better bjj. I think GSP is just going to take him down and wear him down as much as he can and then look for a submission, but thats going to be an extremely difficult task for him.
