GameBot, a hardware-based type bot, doesn't make any trace on the game server unlike the other software-based program that you can easily download on the internet. so,NEVER worry about the delete of your account!

The status of the project(s) is/are all mentioned in their subsequent forums just sign up and read. The people working behind the scenes have the client, we all do but unless your have the COMPLETE SERVER CODE in your hands, they have to recreate it from scratch.

I can't do it but they can if they can gather packets then they can surly create the ones that was not recorded.
mxo live emu site seems to be abandoned but the server is still up. lack of any updates not even 1. Im giving the project a -10/10 for this they have all the time in the world to fix the packets but did they do it? noooo! they had to just dilly dally with the matrix online community.
I hate to say it but the whole silentness in the mxo emu site, is starting to feel just like Black Mesa Source in mod db with no updates being posted i smell it in the air. Not even a tiny smallest or boring update of anything they worked on. I don't care how complex it is at least its good news on the progress.
mxoemu.info has a test server with most emotes fully operational, doors work (for the most part)
We need people with experience in game development, reverse engineering of packet structures also some working knowledge of Lithtech's Discovery engine

@Zero2562130 I'm not so sure about now... but back then there was no combat. I think the plans were always for CR2 as they don't have the files for CR1. Check out the fourms mate
@reyracer1980 I don't understand one thing. The game files are all there, pre-programmed, ready-made and available for use. Why do you have to modify anything but the server-client data?
@wenzilber I wish NCSoft buyed the licences to this game. I trust them than SoE since the fact how city of heroes stands stable and all other mmo they have. and graphics i guess its hard to tell though since the textures they used for the game. Plus City of heroes is far away from matrix online's graphics now there game has ultra mode graphics.

I created like almost a year ago now an account in this MxO Emu, wich players were able to jack in and cruise around with a costumized character doing emotes, but that was it.
My question is, did the server improved? am i able to create a character and start playing?
1 very important note about your project: Do NOT bring back the old combat system. It gave you no freedom and took out the excitement of using combinations of buttons in order to beat your opponent. For combat, I suggest you reference Enter The Matrix and have a set up kind of like this: Q=Punch, E=Kick, R=Block, Q+E=Grab/Throw, etc. And make the ability to enter combat stem from a flying side kick or something rather than clicking on them, just to spice up the game and make it more interesting.
@Zero2562130 they cant patch the game up zero they don't have the power or the program to. they have to leave MXO as it is when it was shut down. until they do be able to send out patches that wont happen for a vary vary vary long time.
@Gabumon404 In that case, combat is going to suck for a very very long time. Just be sure to ask the team if they can at least use some of the code in Enter The Matrix to create a more kinetic-based combat system rather than a probability-based one.
@Zero2562130 well theres nothing the team can do zero they do not own the game they wont have enough money to buy the game from whoever to pick it back up to run mxo again. As i would say nothing will change in matrix online without the needed tools to send patches like they used to do when mxo used to run before it shut down. They are reviving this MXO and puting it back as the way SOE had left it. They wont be able to create new stuff only get things to work again.

@MaK9123 the only way to play in mxo is using the emu. i'll send you a link to the site its a live server but i have not gotten far yet. but i would sudjest reading all of the info on the top first post then go to the link in that post and create a account as you would for SOE long ago and then create your char for in game. after that read the details to get started.

Rajkosto is a very emotional person. He's always flipped flopped around on this project and isn't very reliable. This project of his, will never be finished. I wish an MXOEMU would come out with better/stable dev's, but... sadly I don't think it'll happen.

Nup this is an awesom plan DO NOT GIVE UP is something I have belived in so if there is anything I can do to work on or help with or even test this project let me know I am in Australia though ... but hey id love to go back to playing this game Ive been looking for a Matrix Private server for ages...... There are those that think it should not be revived so to speak but really they would play it trust me, I know loads of peeps that would ply again.
I hope this isn't taken the wrong way, but it seems like a bad idea. I got into MxO right after Beta ended, and played it up until the game's finale event.
My point being, although SOE did a terrible job of managing the amount of attention MxO recieved, along with a slew of other problems, it seems almost disturbing to try and "revive" it. One can only imagine what could go wrong a second time around.
But I do commend the persistence with this project. I'll keep an eye on it.

Ahhh memories... I miss when this game first came out... there was just something about it. Loved the way it was before SOE came along. My favorite part had to be the live events. SOE can suck my ball sac! First CR2, then murder!
Damn guys, it's good to see you got to the point where you were able and allowed to do this. After MxO was murdered by SOE I thought I'd never get to go into Megacity again.
this look awesome, i'll keep my eyes peeled for a full version somewhere down the road, considering i never played the orginal version before it went kaput, it is nice to see fans doing this type of thing, even if Sony bombs it for copyright or whatever, they'll realise that there was and is still a market for this game and hopefully bring it back from the Machine Mainframe :D props to you guys

Ahhh memories... I miss when this game first came out... there was just something about it. Loved the way it was before SOE came along. My favorite part had to be the live events. SOE can suck my ball sac! First CR2, then murder!

Damn guys, it's good to see you got to the point where you were able and allowed to do this. After MxO was murdered by SOE I thought I'd never get to go into Megacity again.

this look awesome, i'll keep my eyes peeled for a full version somewhere down the road, considering i never played the orginal version before it went kaput, it is nice to see fans doing this type of thing, even if Sony bombs it for copyright or whatever, they'll realise that there was and is still a market for this game and hopefully bring it back from the Machine Mainframe :D props to you guys

Yes, we will be reviving MxO with CR2.0 combat.
The game will be free to play, and no DEVS or stupid storyline regulations. THE PLAYERS WILL BE IN CONTROL!

Update: Morpheus Has managed to Develop a system where more people can log in. However it wont be released until near to christmas!
FAQ:
Can I Log into MxO again?
No! This is all locally as there is no Server set up currently!
Is it fully functional?
No. At the moment when this system is released you will be able to chat and have other players connect to you and wonder around the world.
