  • sounds like a stock rb25 to me except for the external wastegate.

  • @driftchaser ecu is tuned to a T...no hunting idle from the cams.

as far as being able to hear the external wastegate I have no idea what you're on about..its recirced to the exhaust.

  • rb30? thats an rb25

  • @driftchaser sorry, but this is most certainly an rb30.

I imported the block and its sister engine's block myself from AUS.

    r32 rb25 head.

  • @driftchaser

I take it you've never heard of an rb30 then? Google is your friend.

  • Clean ride

  • and i thought the rb26dett was bad ass.. shit 0.0

  • looks great mate i bet it flies coz it couldnt weigh fk all,i was gonna say wtf looks like an rb20 head, but yeah rare find with the r32 rb25de head nice one. when you say rebuilt with standard internals do you mean you built it with rb30e or rb30et internals? check out my 30det in my r32 fully built n forged :p

  • u forget to put the seats on description..how much did u pay on those brides?

  • is that responsive is a llumpy cam on it or somin bigger than stock?

  • @eligh54321 tomei cams.

  • @blackboxtuning niiiiiccceeeeee

  • why haven't you switched to an electric fan yet? it a load on the engine that you can easily get rid of.

  • @gadielito2 cooling issues plague these swaps, clutch fan is the only reliable way i've found to cool the car.

  • @blackboxtuning

We did a similar build into a R31 shitter a couple of years back.

We also had major dramas keeping it cool.

Ended up having the radiator shop make us a custom second radiator, to mount infront of the stock unit, between the FMIC. We had to carve out a bit of the bumper, the top radiator support got chopped out too. It still got a bit hot, but was bearable. We did consider piping it through to the boot and going all out but didn't worry about it.

  • What cam profile are you running?

  • @GumGats 260/8.9mm

  • Thanks for all your contribution on Nico, sorry about your rb20 but damn I love your rb30 setup....especially since its on the cheap using what you already had.

  • Looks good Carl. Read all of your write ups and it is all good work. Thank you for all that you have done in contributing to the Nissan community.

I would like to share that I am a big fan of RIPS and have just placed an order for one of their plenums and one oil catch tank. ::Thumbs up::

    - Brian

  • @Mendozacabrones same guy, and glad you are still enjoying your swap...they're fun cars to drive!

  • Sounds like the injectors are working pretty hard.

  • @intheshitter not really, these particular injectors are very noisy...i had a set of rc engineering injectors on the car prior that were dead silent.

  • how where u able to run procams with the crank angle sensor?????? i havnt herd of anyone being able to do this not even performace shops in japan what is the trick? or do u not have procams

  • @karipa88 No trick really, just well tuned...never had a problem in the 6 years I've owned the cams.

  • @karipa88

    that's bullshit.

  • its swwwweeet. just got my rb25 s14 back on the road myself. nothing better than an inline 6 powerhouse

  • very nice. Its obvious this car was carefully thought out and the end result. This car is at a good point in the build, because its not lacking in any area. all bases seam to be covered. thats gotta be a good feeling

  • @MrKoukis14 thanks for the kind words, the car has been a few years in the making and you are correct...i wanted a nice balanced car that was not only powerful but was reliable. its been my dd for quite a while and will continue to do so. I rather enjoy driving this car its simple, clean, and effective.

  • is it just the camera cuz the throttle response seems to suck!

  • wow, rb20det tranny isnt gonna last long on that car.. haha

  • ......what a monster

  • nice manifold, very rare
