Ok so question. I'm at a 4g in both ears. I was at 2 gauge for 3 weeks and in the shower I tried to stretch to a 0 gauge (biggest pain in the world). and it wouldnt go in. I had lotion on the taper and my ear and it was only about half way through. Should I wait longer or what? help :)

Be careful with the lube. When you stretch up with Tapers you need to have an o-ring on the bigger end because when it pushes all the way through is what can cause blow-outs. And when your ear is all lubed up it will be easy to get it in, but will hurt for days longer because all the pressure sets in and your ear will swell up.

dude...i used to use Vitamin E Oil till i found out it makes stretches burn and burn more if you stretch even the slightest bit early...use neosporin with pain relief then put vitamin e oil on/in your ears afterwards to keep them moist :)

I pierced my ears with 8 gauge needles then went to 4 and then to zero, using tapers.

You're meant to leave/ put an o-ring on to the point where you want them to go in all the way (from the bit where it stops tapering, and is all 8mm/0g) then it won't go all the way through and out of your ear and you'll be able to tell when it's at the 8mm.
