  • Britain did preserve the United States during her early years. Just by recognizing her as the 'United States...' paved the way for other European nations to follow. She protected us from Spain and France ever regaining a stronghold in what would later become the western U.S. Britain could have forced a more favorable post 1815 boundary for their Canadian border, but didn't--they backed off their Pacific NW claims to Oregon. They didn't exploit the Civil War by aiding the South with troops.

  • @Planetar17 By 1860, Britain was a super empire and she could have made things difficult for Lincoln by joining the rebs in the South and also opening up a front from Canada, but she didn't. I don't think such a strategy would have worked, for the North was that powerful, but it would have extended the war and made it bloodier and brought other Europeans in to aid the North, perhaps igniting a world war.

  • What kind of dip shit's gave a thumbs down to this? Oh that's that's right slave masters and other human feces!!

  • To punctualjinx and others who dont know or research that well. Up to the last 6 months of WW2 British forces on Land..Air..& Sea had more forces directly opposing the enemy in battle than US forces -FACT. US military forces only exceeded British forces for the last 6 months of th war - FACT . I'll post something you can check out on US navy forces in 1941 TOO if you want - they weren't up to speed and NEEDED HELP from the British actually - not the other way in 1941 - check it!

  • Deutschland lebe hoch.

Sieg Heil you motherfuckers ... !!!

  • What's I.R.S.? Sory if the question is stupid, for a american, but not for me, since I'm not one.

  • @Dioblackironoyster Internal Revenue Service,The IRS is the U.S. government agency responsible for tax collection and tax law enforcement. Contains downloadable forms, instructions, and agency publications

  • @Dioblackironoyster It stands for "Internal revenue service",there the tax collector gestapo agency here in the states.

  • What a load of right-wing extremist nonsense.

  • It's funny how people argue over the internet about the US and the UK, when actually we have the best relationship going, in fact, we had that relationship straight after the Declaration of Independence. Although thats probably because the world hates the english speakers, especially the US and the UK.

  • the average soldier though more than likely believed they were fighting for freedom, they are the ones you should remember not the officers that took credit and power from average mans sacrifice

  • lol, neither britain or the us won ww2, russia did, without their effort germany would of had more army groups available so an invasion of britain would of been almost certain, if they took britain the US would not of had a landing zone to plan for an invaision of europe, still that isn't what this is about, its about people standing up for their right for freedom. They forget though that the forefathers of america were freemasons and its doubtful they were the saints people make out,

  • britain is nothing on its own

  • @jcolossale21 We conquered 25% of the world on our own. Does that make us something?

  • @Crape101 and lost at the height of your power to a bunch of farmers and merchants.

  • @usterdboy You mean lost to the French and Spanish Empires? Hell if we were just fighting the farmers and merchants we would have won easily. You cant attack a fortress with guirella tactics.

  • @Crape101 OMG are you serious? i guess you limeys dont teach that part of history in the classroom. what a joke you are.

  • @usterdboy ... When you did chose to attack Britain in an open field battle you got FUCKING OWNED the US militaries worst defeat in history probably!!!! They even admit it's one of them - Battle of Camden. Dude wtf most people with any brains know France helped you a fucking lot.

  • @Crape101 French helped with money, training, and navel support dip-shit. It is not like you limey cunt fought great because if that was true you people would have won. fucking moron.

  • @usterdboy The Germans lost WW2 but they fought bloody well didnt they? It took several world superpowers the UK, USA, USSR and France to defeat them! They fought great but they lost. Yeah dude you got trained by proffesional soldiers lol, that counts for alot, no?

  • @Crape101 Was not talking about ww2 first off. And valley of forge "Washington's army" was were french officer help trained the mulitia. Remember we already had many men in this country that had experience from the french and Indian war.

  • @usterdboy - Well the revolution was really a civil war, it was British vs British, George Washington was actually an experienced British general before the war.

And dont you think fighting a civil war 1000's of miles across sea while simultaneously fighting pretty much every other super power of the time is hard?

Lucky for America that there wasn't actually much political motivation to continue the war, Britain's interests were more concentrated on India and fighting the French and Spanish.

  • @TomHartill NO it was a revaluation idiot hence the name THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR. Washington was not a British general he was a colonel in the french Indian war. YES AMERICA WAS VERY IMPORTANT to the British empire, but to many British soldiers died and the public started to become sour towards the idea of continuing the war. O and AMERICA brought down the soviet union without firing a bullet at them something the British should be very thankful for unless you wanted to speak Russian

  • @usterdboy - Why call me an idiot? asshole.

And do you know what a fucking civil war is u dipshit, just like the French revolution was a civil war, and the recent revolution's in Egypt and libya are both CIVIL WARS. Revolutionary war = British citizens revolting against the head of state, that sounds to me like a CIVIL WAR you "idiot".

"YES AMERICA WAS VERY IMPORTANT to the British empire" - not as important as India or beating the Frnech, if it was then rest assured America would have lost...

  • @usterdboy ... continued... "O and AMERICA brought down the soviet union without..." what do you want a fucking medal or something?

Maybe America should be thankful to Britain for giving them a language, or indeed stealing a country for them, or maybe for letting the US exploit 2 world wars for huge profit.

Oh and actually most EU powers during the cold war had HUGE millitary expendatures ready for Russia.

We thank NATO for the cold war because MANY countries helped, not just the US, dick.

  • @TomHartill LOL we should and do have a medal by the way"Brittan always had a problem with Russia but never could do anything about it until America". Guess what the rightful ownership of this land was to the Indians so i guess the British, french, Spanish, and the dutch stole it from them. Also my family never had anything to do with killing Indians nor "stealing land". Second You did not give us a language to speak the french, Italians, and Nordic people did "im Norwegian so you are welcome".

  • @usterdboy - I'm sorry but the USA would not exist it it wasn't for Britain, sure it may have been colonialised by the French or somebody else but it would not be the country it is now.

"Brittan always had a problem with Russia but never could do anything about it until America" - Well what exactly did the US do? - do you even know what the cold was? - the only reason the cold war ended was because communism basically collapsed, not because the US did anything.

  • @TomHartill You are a stuck up nationalist idiot. Every heard of Regan and Gorbachev?

  • @usterdboy - I'm not nationalist at all, nor am I stuck or an idiot, but you sir are a hypocite.

And yes I do know about the Reyjavik Summit.

You said "and lost at the height of your power to a bunch of farmers and merchants" - literally EVERYTHING in that statement is incorrect, and really makes you sound like an ass.

  • @jcolossale21 lol

  • oppps. need spell check.. Google freedom to fascism, takes you to videos you must see if you think fedzilla is outta control.

  • freedom to facism. com

  • wth

  • “The dictator bankers rule the world through debt, which is money they create out of nothing. They need world government to ensure no country defaults or tries to overthrow them. As long as private bankers, instead of governments, create money the human race is doomed. These bankers and their allies have bought everything and everyone.” - HENRY MAKOW.

  • What a load of crap. Even as Washington was in office the USA had Shays' Rebellion, Whiskey Rebellion, Fries's Rebellion. The USA goverment was worse then the British one the Rebels overthrew. You can't build a goverment out of a freedom pricaple. The very concept of centralized authority is at odds with indevigual liberty. This mindless gibberish doesn't make any sence. #FAIL

  • Instead of arguing currently with each other, just think of the words in this poem currently and ask your self, is this who we really are right now or has our goverment failed us. Republican and Democrats. I am not apart of the Tea Party and nor will I ever be. I am a son of a Patriot, I believe that corperations have bought out our goverment and the goverment is no longer there for the people but for the 2 percent of rich who control the corperations. We need to regain our country.

  • Why do people think early Americans spoke with an American accent. The early settlers were mainly English, they went to American for freedom of religion. The poet almost certainly spoke with an English accent. In fact the Declaration of Independence was almost certainly written by educated English settlers. George Washington's family came from Washington in Co Durham. And if you really want to learn what their spirit was like, read The Rights of Man by Tom Payne - another Englishman.

  • @1939hudson The Declaration of Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson(who went to college at William and Mary in Virginia), you fool. Although, he did take a bit of information from a man named John Locke :P.

  • Dunkirk was a key battle that sustained the allied resistance, without the possibility of a co-opted American/British/French invasion, Germany would've diverted their resources to the Eastern Front and it would've become HIGHLY likely of a Soviet military collapse.

Now all of you shut the hell up about this it was a co-opted effort that would've failed without Britain the United States or the Soviet Union.

  • Without the involvement of the Soviet Union in the war the Atlantic wall would've been 10x more fortified then it actually was, Germany would've had 85% more resources to work with on the Western Front, an additional 2 000 000 soldiers, and the possibility of a D Day invasion would be completely out the window, with any possibility of liberating Europe, if Britain surrendered to Germany, it would've ended the only opposition Germany had, which would've ended the war.

  • Stalin sky rocketed the number of casualties it would take to win on the Eastern front because of his Cluster Fuck job of governing the Soviet Union over the first 2 weeks of Operation Barbarossa, Stalin's policies are what caused the massive sacrifices on the Eastern front and is what caused the complete lack of order in the Red Army for the better part of the war, without American foreign aid it is HIGHLY unlikely Britain would've sustained itself economically, as well as the Soviet Union

  • Would you all shut the hell up about World War 2 and actually wake the hell up to the corruption and World Government establishment that is taking place??? To settle this once and for all do your dam research, Germany never would've defeated the Royal Navy negating the possibilities of a land invasion, Germany never would've been able to cross the Atlantic into the United States and actually holed an offensive front, the D Day invasion was a complete gamble that was almost lost,

  • 66 red coats!!

  • Awesome poem and video. Thanks for making and posting this. The poem is correct in many many ways. Deo Vindice.

  • buy everyone, let's not get off point. Events in WW2 have nothing to do with this video.

    -God Guns & Guts!!!

  • @NorthEndFan

Do you realize that France wouldn't have had a chance at liberation until the United States entered the war?

  • This puts a tear to my eye.

  • What a load of shit

  • “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.” — Thomas Jefferson

  • utter bollocks!

  • @ tropidise

Your healthcare isn't "free". It's payed for by the taxpayers. You're taxed to hell on everything else.

  • GOD BLESS BRITAIN! GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

  • We in the developed world have FREE healthcare.

  • @tropidise Yep, it's free and it's not working. Woot! Like, in the UK the NHS has to cut down on spending, and how do they do it? They stop paying for surgery. Nice, no? People who can afford it, in many EU countries, flock to private insurance, because with nationalized healthcare you're screwed.

  • @higuma75 I've had no problems with our healthcare system, don't know what you lot are told in the states but, our healthcare is pretty damn good. Only minor downside is SOMETIMES you wait a few hours to be seen by a doctor. This happens in every health establishment in the world.

I think for what we get the increase of 1% in tax for our healthcare is well worth it, I would pay double if I was asked!

  • @tropidise Really? It just appears out of nowhere? Why not have free everything then? Moron.

  • OK let's talk about freedom...

I take it from the tone we have a "god fearing" conservative. Why then are you conservatives so dead set on opposing gay marriage? These American citizens deserve the same freedom to marry as you or I have.(skip canned conservative reply/failed argument of "tree or dog" please)

Yet you conservatives want to ban it based on...Christianity.

Also, can you show me where in the Constitution it says we should base our laws, science, and common sense on 1 religion?

  • @hipstermi And you leftists want to legalize pedos. At least in Europe. Been pushing for it for years.

You want to base your laws, science and common sense on other religions? Heck, you want to base common sense on religion? Are you nuts?!

  • @higuma75

"And you leftists want to legalize pedos. At least in Europe"

That's typical conservative asshole logic debate. I never even mentioned "pedo" but you state we want to legalize it? I didnt identify myself as an american. So this point doesnt apply here.

"base your laws, science and common sense on other religions? "

I didn't say that, and your bullshit religion has no place being the reasoning for laws, especially given how you bigots oppose gay marriage. Not religion its hate.

  • @higuma75

Pro pedo advocates are right wingers

  • Oh gooly gosh...a conservative think he talks to dead patriots! God my ass...the schools don't need to teach religion, thats what parents and churches are for if parents CHOOSE that. And which religion? I'm sure you conservatives wouldn't be cool with say Islam being taught in school.

Would these be the same patriots who had slaves? Counted black men as 3/5 but didn't let them vote? Didn't let women vote? Stole land and killed natives?

We have problems now but in many ways its better.

  • don't forget the magna carte

  • Once again, writing one's own press releases and believing them is the best example of insanity - or of the scoundrel.........

  • lol he said tireanny not tyranny lmao

  • america ahahaha, joke? xd

  • This poem is total tripe! The residents of the former America were British. Abraham Lincoln was British, Washington's roots are from Northern England! As for freedom in America, what a load of tosh! The courts are full of complaints about civil abuse. You forget the slave trade in the cotton fields. Next time you to a library, pick up a history book, that is, if you can read!

  • lol, americans what a joke

  • Long Live the Queen!

  • really inspiring, and and true.

  • if u think the u.s is messed up then come to britain you will find that this country is very f*cked up.

  • Britain ain't fucked up. Its alot better then U.S..

  • @kutzak159 It sure is.... If you like a monarchy, no being able to own a gun, a taxed out the ass for other peoples crap. Britain sure is the land of the dependent slave. Stay there

  • @TheConstitutionMan I don't live in britain :-)

  • @TheConstitutionMan America was created by the British, as was over a quarter of the world, i assume you speak english? I agree with you on the monarchy issue they are a joke, but without this country you would not have the modern world, no electricity, toilets, or trains! All if not most of the worlds sports also!

  • @wilsonj51994 u watch DBZ ... get out of my country asian ..

  • our country is fucked...our government forgot what we were about. distract us with the media..dumbed down the population...its complete. the people dont even remember the basic principles about the united states of america that they were taught in grade school...we are supposed to be free. not have laws that scrutinize over every little thing we do...laws that allow the cheaters and the rich to prevail..laws that allow the police to do whatever they want to the people.

  • Its funny what George Bush was doing when the planes hit the towers on 911. He was reading a story in a classroom like a good little Bush.

  • Libertytreeradio for more videos on youtube. Visitor From The Past was written by the Viet Nam Veteran Thealen Paulk who at the time lived in Holland Michigan. You will hear the Visitor From The Past poem everyday as the Introduction for The Intelligence Report

as it has been since 1993. Check out Libertytreeradio.4mg..... for 24/7 patriot radio. Ne Copula Nobiscum!

  • The irs drove Joe stack to what he did, every one should read his letter, though i am no advocate of what he did his letter is a must read.

Joe stack fly a plane into the irs building on the 18th , i feel really bad for the guy reading his letter.

  • The poem and video is awesome and inspiring. The second American Revolution has begun. It is time for all American Patriots to stand, once again and fight, at the polls, November 2, 2010.

  • @tea4temecula While I admire your virtual online spirit, you are ignorant to think that the elections will actually occur this November. Either we will be in martial law by then, or the elections will be a fraud, and we'll still have the same corruption in DC. Get up, train, gather food and water, buy guns and ammo. Time is growing short. War is coming...I just pray the true patriots will prevail.

    SEMPER FI!!!

  • Trekfan92 ... Acctually, America's time at the top is more or less over, in the next 10-20 years we're going to see China rise up :P

Awesome, to be honest, how Britain and America are now the best Alliance going. :)

  • yep, very much true

  • Their is a bigger chance that we see China collaps under its own weight. On the outside it looks as if they have all their stuff nicely taken care off, but the true inside of China is rotten to the core. When the poor from the country flock to the cities that almost bursts out of their boundaries, where they are used almost as slaves, something will go wrong. China will rise up, but not as we expect it like now.

  • everything is imperminant

  • imagine the height of the brittish empire today if america lost the war... lol bad luck i want Australian Indipendence heh heh heh

  • We wouldn't have been a big Empire if we kept America. It was too much strain and the hatred towards us in America would of just fuelled another revolution. Besides back in the 18th century America was only 13 colonies, so not very big to be honest.

  • @michaelwebo america won that war ????? i fought it was the french ..

  • this is AWESOME!!! I have put it into my favs, too, and given it 5 stars. There is a reckoning coming to the elite left and it's already started...we are getting back closer and closer to our Founders and the Constitution, thank God. Great video!

  • @angeljenny55 you forget the USA is still owned by the crown ;P you need to learn your constitution

  • @MrAinslieJJ are you joking? That honestly cant be a real comment. The idiocy from across the ocean "not pond" is like a virus. god help you people.

  • We need to get together and know each other. We need fellowship amongst patriots. If we do not unite in person, then we will be lost. The gov is not affraid of what we know but rather who we know.

  • PREPARE Brothers, the time draws nigh . . .

  • britans biggest migstake we should of liscened to the Colonists

  • @padeyoday It's alright, I don't really blame the Brits. The British had the power and they used it. And used it well. It's what empires do, but nothing lasts forever. Now it's America's turn to be in charge. We won't last forever either.

  • Screw the French. That';s not what the video is about. It's about Freedom which we have lost. Death to NWO, we shall prevail! Long Live the Republic!

  • That is correct the French did help alot at the end. I do not know why most people leave out the French !!!! Look at where we are now far worse than then!!! Better yet lets not forget the native american indians THIS WAS THEIR LAND stolen now they are going to do the same to us!!! ohh if we could only learn from history!!!!

  • the injuns shouldnt hav been on our land before we got there

  • in typical American fashion no mention of the French who won the revolution.

  • what about the french no mention of the amercans liberating them

  • thats because the Americans didnt liberate France It was the Allies who liberated France. Typical yank thinking they did it all!

  • actually i am not a yank i live in canada but born in germany

  • you should know better then since Canada was part of the allies

  • i am aware of that

  • @NorthEndFan

Please don't confuse ignorant conservatives with the rest of us yanks...

  • @NorthEndFan Would the Commonwealth have been able to make the Normandy landings without the US? No, they wouldn't have. We don't claim it was just us who did did it, but it wouldn't have been possible without us, and that is historical fact.

  • @lastminuteregret Not true, ever heard of the very succesfull battles in north Africa, later Italy? We intended to invade from the "underbelly" of southern Germany along with the Soviets. The US military didn't like this so refused to take part unless the main allied thrust came through Germany.

If you was to say the US getting involved (Near the end of the war) saved many lives, you would be obviously correct.

  • @Sonnypjim09 First, the US didn't get involved near the end of the war, we landed troops in North Africa in 1942 - it's sort of impossible for us to have done anything instantly after war was declared. Second, Britain wasn't 'overwhelming' the Germans to the point that they'd have been able to invade Italy by themselves. British victories in North Africa were due to Germany not putting enough resources to the Afrika Korps. The British could not have invaded Europe without the US, that's fact.

  • War began in 1939, you got involved with your military directly in Europe on 8th Nov 1942 (nearly 1943) Even then, your first single battle against rommel you was severely beaten, thereafter passing full command to Montgomery.

During the of the Africa campaign.

Before you arrived we had over 200, 000 against our 36, 000 and we held on well with barely any supplies or extra troops.

You got involved when we had already pushed them back and helped us take French controlled north Africa

  • Also, where did I say we was "overwhelming" the Germans/Italians? Italy was soundly beaten with Germany mainly by us without any US support, hence why they had pulled back closer to their supply ports in the north west, we would of had no problem taking Italy alone.

We didn't have adequte supplies or any reinforcements for months & we still held them off ALONE, so it wasn't just down to Rommel not getting his supplies.

We could of invaded Europe, Russia was pushing from the east.

  • @Sonnypjim09 Oh don't act like it was a hard thing for Britain to hold on, especially with full naval dominance above sea level. 1942 isn't near the end of the war, you literally just proved my point. And how exactly is pushing Italy out of it's Libyan colony classify as 'soundly beaten'? Oh, and Britain was getting a hell of a lot of military supplies from the US, as was the USSR. Face the truth, Britain needed help to win, it's not something you should be ashamed of.

  • @lastminuteregret Not a hard thing? the royal navy did NOT have full dominance in the meditterainian, I can see you know nothing of WW2 after that idiotic comment. they had near free and unmolosted movement of supplies to Rommel and his Italian allies.

I specificly mentioned it was closer to 1943 because it's later in the year, yet the US barely fought, only in Northen europe did they pull their finger out.

I didn't say soundly beaten, so stop quoating utter lies.

  • @lastminuteregret When Rommel and the Italians invaded north Africa we was massively outnumbered and had out of date equipment with barely any supplies. Yet we fought them off in Egypt, after they overran most of North Africa, not just Liyba.

Then when we counterattacked we took German, Italian, Viche French land and pushed them out of North Africa.

We bought around 90% of our supplies of the US during the war, like EVERY single country does during warfare. Yet again, not proving any point.

  • @lastminuteregret There wouldnt have been a normandy but there would still be a allied victory

  • @NorthEndFan like to see the allies do it with out the u.s.a .your right they didn't do it all but they did the most! to save europe!

  • @NorthEndFan uh, we were an allied power, if we stayed out of it, europe would be german, we were able to out produce the axis, so we won, simple as that, and the U.S. did provide most of the muscle, like we do when then U.N. decides it needs to take action

  • @NorthEndFan USA and Russia game changers...would have been slaughtered without us

  • @NorthEndFan are you saying that all of us belive that, I know the allies liberated france, but do admit if not for our involvement we would all be speaking german right now.

  • Sovjet, commies crushed nazi germany almost by themself, sending millions of redarmy soldier to die against the german army. USA and its allies saved western Europe from being under Sovjet rule. But let eastern europe to rott.

The part of Europe that was so important to go to war for. killing 50-70 millions lifes in w2.

  • @NorthEndFan right because "the allies" were doing sooo well by themselves

  • @NorthEndFan yea but we sure as fuck helped, a lot

  • @NorthEndFan And the Allies consisted of the U.S. too. Dumb ass stereotyping Brit.

  • @punctualjinx yea right on America forever!!

  • @punctualjinx Wow, you can't be that stupid.

  • @MegaLolburger Im stupid of knowing country's who were apart of the Allies in WW2? The only idiot I see is the one who's calling me stupid.

  • @punctualjinx He is saying that it wasn't America who liberated France (i.e it wasn't just America) it was the Allies which of course, America was part of, but their were other countries too. Use your brain a little bit next time.

  • @MegaLolburger I didn't say America liberated France. I know my history enough to know America was not the one who did the most work. I'm using my brain son.

  • @punctualjinx America did do the most, you are not using your brain. Even before we entered we were sending you thousnads of thousands of supplies. when you look at all the battle plans that were executed, Americans had twice the force both Britain and Canadians had combined.

  • @TheDARIEN54321 DID I SAY AMERICA DID THE MOST? No.... You're the one who is obviously not using a brain. Read before you post. I'm just wondering, why are people arguing about WWII when this video is about a poem of the revolution? People please quit this nonsense.

  • @TheDARIEN54321 You're right, America did do the most... to fuck over other countries in world war 2, these supplies you talk of were used to choke England into debt with lend of lease and make it the puppet it is today and the only reason you had the most forces was because amercia waited until the allied front was at breaking point to join the war, to seem as heros.

  • @MrAinslieJJ Wow, go and read history before arguing with me. We stayed out of the war because we just got out of a depression and our population wasnt ready for it. The Axis powers hadnt made any hostile moves towards us either, until Pearl Harbor. And those supplies? They were FREE. Honestly, we came in and saved you right in time, and this is what we get.... maybe next time we wont help, would that make you happy?

  • @NorthEndFan do u think england had the military strentgh to invade europe, no so with out the american war machine england would have still been holding a defensive stratagy for the remainder of the war and dont call american yanks its annoying we dont call u british lobsters anymore so come down

  • @pigcow52 you call us english most times, that pisses me off

  • here here

  • Rule brittania!!!!!!!

  • America is a little heavy on religion... That's who we are (or used to be). Won't long now we won't be able to mention religion without getting a stiff fine.

  • That was inspiring...maybe a little heavy on religion, but still very good.

  • ....EXCELLENT!

  • Well done, thanks for posting this. Good luck.

  • you missed the part of how the Canadians and British burned Washington and the constitution to the ground ,murdered all the politicians they found.

thats the part most Americans omit ,forget or do not want to understand.

Americans rather rest assueded in what the well paid apologists have to say.

the days of the constituion ended in the war of 1812.

today it is refered to as " Just God damned piece of paper" G W Bush.

and for good reason as this is truely the case today.

  • To have the constitution in full effect again it will take blood sweat and tears once more. and from time to time it requires more blood sweat and tears

  • @dave777blaster Right on Dave, bout that time.

  • Rule Brittania! If it wasn`t for the french, the Americans wouldn`t exist (damn french!) May all who mock britain, may they burn in hell!

  • yep, really it was a british civil war fought on american soil. Ironic how america now mocks the french

  • yeah i dont mock the french they make good fries and we used thier rifles in the revolution didnt we?

  • belgians invented fries, didn't you call them freedom fries for a while, and what about those cheese eating surrender monkeys

  • why are they called "French" then?

I never said any of that and freedom fries aren't appropriate since the past years we have been losing more liberty than gaining.

  • something to do with the technique of frying "frenching" potatoes The statue of liberty is still there, or did that walk off in ghostbusters 2

  • Considering the statue of liberty is a satanic symbol sent to us by french freemasons i almost wish it would've it has little to do with liberty.

  • Americans had HELP from the french if not the Redcoats would have WON

  • HAHA. Redcoats were the party of SURRENDER.

Of whom may I ask to read a history book?

  • I invite you to come see my little animated video (it's different) you have to judge ... Thank you for the visit.

  • fuck you and stick it that information up your ass fuck nwo

  • Well said. The Navajo code talkers of WWII were a great help, and other native languages would be a great boon in future battle (thank God the Inuits have a bazillion words for "snow." :)

  • Hell, even today, we don't have the virgin forests of the past but we do have carefully managed, large tracts of second growth forests (these are growing in number due to the loss of farms in the East.) that cont...and our lumber still commands a price at market. The UK on the other hand is comparatively barren of trees and has remained so since the 1600's. English Oaks are treated like museum pieces when somebody should be raiding them come fall for acorns and get crackin!

  • The trouble was that the colonists were doing all of the work but getting little benefit in return. They harvested the lumber. They paid taxes on it, both to make their homes and to print their news. They needed it to build ships of their own but were prohibited from doing so. They had more lumber than they knew what to do with but were forbidden to touch any of it even if it was on their land and theirs was a land with colder winters!!

  • "We have lost bigger and better colonies than you."

    That is classic.

  • Is it just me or does the guy in the video sound like George Bush?

  • The UK Government teaches their subjects that Britain really did not want America all that badly. They teach that they had other considerations (India, etc). The truth is that Britain fully understood the potential of the America continent and wanted it very, very badly. They also embellish the role that the French and Spanish played in the defeat, lest they appear to have been beaten by a rag-tag group of uncivilized rabble. That is why you read the submissions that you do here.

  • They don't teach anything about the revolution at all in the UK. Only as a cause of the French revolution. its just another colonial scuffle (they don't teach any others either).

The war was the end of the 1st empire & was viewed at the time as a disaster.

However you can hardly say it was the end for the Uk!

The current UK obcession with the war comes from irritasion with the foudation myth that portrays Red coated nazis.

We've a proud history & we object to having the piss taken out of us!

  • Takin' the piss! I love that phrase. I use it here and no one knows what the heck I am talking about.

I suppose I haved heard that it is taught that way from people who were older. As far as the Nazi thing goes, I have never heard that taught, or even refered to, in any institution. I love the Brits and cannot understand why they hate me like they do.

  • No we didn't realise its potential. If we had why would have we have gone to great lengths to prevent further expansion into Indian lands?

No we did not realise its potential. If we had we would have reinvaded. As for the U.K Government, they do not teach anything about Britain&#
