  • The trouble is that for quality bus travel one needs a good bus, good roads and above all a good driver who doesn't hack at the steering halfway around corners. One also needs drivers who can stop the bus without a jerk. Some press down the brake pedal until the bus tries to do a hand-stand and rebounds on its springs. They must have trained at the Bob Newhart Driving Academy! Some X9 drivers are very good but one of them is extremely rough so please bring your own sick-bag.

  • Hey mate, I went Sheffield today to watch Leicester play, I saw an F reg bus in Sheffield City Centre which was what I think is a Alexander bodied double decker, Scania I think. Looked a bit like the LOM plate buses that are in Leicester with Centrebus, can't remember what the rest of the plate was though :(
