I saw Bette in person in 1972,when she was during her stage show tour'An Evening With Bette Davis' she was great.She sang' I written A letter To Daddy' from 'Baby Jane' and clips from her films started the show.

Al the big stars on the 'What's my Line' shows had to be identified for commercial purposes, not least to save themselves the embarrassment of not being 'recognised' so to speak, so the whole series was a benign fraud.

Yes, and I think that was dubbed with Joan Crawfords' voice, don't you think?? Man Bette was a creepy slob in that movie.But she wore it well, as usual. It's not one of my favs or hers tho. Have you seen Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte?? Scary, gothic, good acting by all, interesting, moody. It has it all.
