Radiohead have done a multitude of different things, for instance, Hail to the Thief mixed two very opposing genres perfectly into one. Electronica (Eg Aphex Twin) and also Industrial (Eg Nine Inch Nails).

Also i don't think i've ever heard a U2 song that isn't in 4/4. Radiohead mix timings so much, Paranoid Android mixs 3 i think? Also 15 Step is in 5/4, which is a pretty mad timing.

Radiohead have also tried different genres, for example Amnesiac was completely Electronic.

Now the music half the time uses notes that should clash, but somehow work in the music which to me is a very interesting thing. This is mostly down to Johnny Greenwoods very unique way of playing, to me though the Edge seems to enjoy the pentatonic scale a little too much.

But tbh i'm getting a bit tired of arguing with you, i enjoyed it but its wearing a bit thin now.

You got punk/post punk/raw rock in boy/october/war, ambient, almost post-rock music in the unforgettable fire, gospel/soul rock coming through in joshua tree, american roots rock in rattle and hum, then a complete change with Achtung Baby - industrial/electronic rock. The new album has sections of ambient brilliance on it, but I dont class this song as one of them, its not even that good.
