  • Ulster Is Irish !

  • for the frikin last time we don't to be irish we are british NO SURRENDER!

  • @matchattaxkidJF You must have moved to Northern Ireland did you? Cause people from Ireland are normally Irish.

  • @matchattaxkidJF Are you truly from the north or simply a sympathetic plastic prody?

  • @SteamTrainsIreland Ever checked a map lately?

  • @SteamTrainsIreland Ulster is Irish, Glascow is Scottish, London is English, but they are all British!

  • Éire 32

  • Memo to americans: Northern Ireland is park of the UK, so you can be from there and still be British. However, since I am a taig, I wish to be part of the free-state.

  • @Moloney20 With the number of Welsh, Scot, Irish & English immigrants in the Unites States, you would think there would have a bit more cultural education.

  • Fuck the Red Hand.

And they are playing Danny Boy LMAO.

  • I rather like the idea of Ulster being a cute little country (and EU member) of its own, alongside Scotland, Wales and England.

  • @SlashinatorX Because the Northern Irish people don't want to be ruled by the Irish. They are happy ruling themselves, and most of them are happy staying in the Union. Britian is spread out on a number of islands which constitute the British isles. Ireland is one island (plus smaller ones of course) but two countries, just as Great Britain is one island (plus the Shetlands, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man etc.) but three countries.

  • @Kkardemumma I'm from Northern Ireland, born and raised there. I want to be united with the rest of Ireland, and I'm not the only one... Just sayin'

  • @Skyifictionable I never said everyone in Northern Ireland isn't Nationalists.

  • @Kkardemumma You said "the Northern Irish people don't want to be ruled by the Irish". Anyway, there are Irish people in the NI parlaiment, via Sinn Fein, SDLP etc (as well as British).

  • @Skyifictionable Yes, the majority of the people in Northern Ireland don't want Dublin rule, and yes, most of them prefer to stay in the Union.

    One island, two countries.

  • @Kkardemumma "Yes" You say that as if you had already said it.

  • @Skyifictionable Merely affirming your statements as well as mine. Key phrases: ruled by the Irish, as well as British, Nationalists.

  • @Kkardemumma Be more specific next time, there's a difference between "the Northern Irish people don't want to be ruled by the Irish." and "the majority of the people in Northern Ireland don't want Dublin rule".

Let's not mislead the yanks now, shall we?

  • @Skyifictionable In a democracy the majority rule.

  • @Kkardemumma That's true, too bad the Unionists don't have enough seats in parlaiment to pass laws etc. without the consent of the Irish people. :)

  • @Skyifictionable You can be Irish and British.

  • @Kkardemumma True, but I'm Irish, what's your point?

  • @Skyifictionable None, just reacted to " Unionists don't have enough seats in parliament to pass laws without the consent of the Irish people." :)

  • @Kkardemumma So you have no point? What's the point in commenting if you have none then?

  • @Skyifictionable Just making small talk.

  • @SlashinatorX Reunited? NI has never been part of the Republic of Ireland. In fact, the only time the island of Ireland has been one country was when it was part of the Union. Ulster has always been different from the rest of the island, and even more so since the arrival of the Scots in the 17th century. NI is more likely to unite with Scotland, to be honest.

  • @Slashinator X You do talk bollocks.

  • @garytow I've never heard of Keith Lemon. :/ According to Wikipedia he's English, he must be England's best then.

Jedward? Of ALL the bands and groups to come out of Ireland you pick Jedward? Right.

U2? Enya? The Cranbarries? The Script? Westlife?

  • I thought someone was having a laugh when I heard Jedward wrer to represent Ireland in the eurovision song contest. No wonder you lost.

  • @NickellNo1 Ireland came 8th. The UK came 11th. Do I have to say much more than that?

The difference between Ireland and the UK is... Ireland knew they wouldn't win with their entry, the UK on the other hand, you guys genuinely thought you had a chance. :)

  • @garytow All I see is Ireland's fierce determination to be free and the pride of its people, its fantastically ancient culture and language, its unique and delicious food and how the millions of Irish people have contributed to making this world to what it is today. I am very proud to be Irish, I don't feel inferior infact to any other nationality in fact I feel su- nevermind. :)

The UK... well I just see the decline of its sadistic, slave infested empire, but I'm looking through Irish eyes ;)

  • can anybaddy tell me why is there a jewish star on the flag of N.Irland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @50GEORGIAN its not its a six sided star for the 6 counties of Nortern Ireland

  • @dublinricky who asked you ? ?

  • haha no i control me mate, i live in a free country that was built on freedom, u live in a colony, u are de one under control my friend

  • @feartroda sorry, I don't speak giberish.

  • @feartroda whatever you say.

  • @feartroda 52% of catholics and over 90% of prods want to be british, just deal with it.

  • STOP ALL MUSLIM IMMIGRATION NOW!!!!

  • @evianalmighty racist! pls dun be racist against muslim!

  • HAR HAR HAR what if they really had a childish tune like this: nononono dont make me think about it

  • I like it becauce I have to do a projuct

  • FTQ

  • @broadband01 if they want to be 'british subjects' let them fuk bak to britain wher they came from and they can be as british as they fukn like

  • Comment removed

  • Broadband101: 49% odd of the people in ni are my people and we will never abandon our desire to have our country united. Have a look at how many Irish soldiers from the south fought in both ww despite tge British massacring their families back in Ireland. And as someone born in England I can confirm most English would be happy to give us back our country

  • @waterfordinmelbourne Nothing stays the same, there the is a serious 'Greying' of the Pro Union population, and this years Census 27th march if looked on from an objective standpoint may well throw up some interesting results, as the Last one was seriously 'Airbrushed' not to frighten this community...anyhow with regard to this Flag..'The Ulster Banner' this was the old Flag of Stormont Government...and used by same from 1953-1973 and as same has no longer has any function, times do move on.

  • unity of ireland will not work, the south is already bankrupt, and the brits as well as the european union has had to bail them out to the tune of billions,a complete ireland would be like going back 30 years for the north, the infastructure of south is a long way behing the uk,the 5th biggest econony in the world,no nhs ,less benefits, etc,

  • @broadband01 Well said!

  • @broadband01 the infrastrucure in the North is better than the South? Are you having a laugh? Have you lot finished your side of the motorway yet? As for the Brits bailing us out, if it wasnt for the brits bailing you out for the last 60 years you would be living in tents, you all work for the government, spongers is a name that springs to mind. If you want the queen and the english flag, your business, Im just embarressed for you as much as the english are confused by it, they think your Irish

  • @waterfordinmelbourne the rep of ireland is now owned by european corporations, and thats a fact,,and futhermore,i am english born and bred, and not from n ireland, and as such can say ,that i am not confused about our brothers in n ireland, they fought in two world wars for us,they fly our flag, and they are proud to be british,as i am,they are our kindred, ans we will never desert them

  • @broadband01 Northern ireland doesnt have an Offical flag when are u gonna stop suckling the Queens nipples FFS, Ireland is a sovereign country nobody owns her!!

  • The tune us called Londonderry air truth be told I dunno were danny boy fires into this tune

  • The UK definitely don't want Northern Ireland. It's a bit embarrassing actually.

Ireland wouldn't even take them back now. Let's cut them off and let them float into the sea where they can indulge in sectarian poison all day long and leave Britain and Ireland alone.

  • CAN ANY NORTHERN IRISH PEOPLE TELL ME WHAT WOULD THE MAJORITY OF UR COUNTRY RATHER BE TOGETHER OF THE UK, REPUBLIC OF IRELAND, OR COMPLETELY INDIPENDENT

    JUST CURIOUS

PLEASE DONT ANSWER ME IF UR NOT NORTHERN IRISH

  • @dancemusic23 I think its about 60-40 for the Unionists. Unionists have a slight majority I think

  • @dancemusic23 people ive meet support the crown, some independent, most of the people that did support the i.r.a left to ireland when the economy was booming

  • @David123451988 some day some day and that's Danny boy tiocfaidh ar la

  • Isn't this the theme for "Danny boy"?

  • its god save the queen and that song aint fucking irish neither is NI

  • it should be king billys on the wall

  • @SamW24315 exactly mate no surrender not now not ever

  • why does everything about here turn sectarian? get a life for christ sake

  • Tiocfaidh ár Lá .. x

  • hopfully the british occupation of the 6 counties of ulster will come to an end some day so our country can be re-united.

  • is north ire a proper country or owned most by england?

  • GIVE IRELAND BACK TO THE IRISH

  • The province of Ulster has a flag but no anthem. Danny Boy was never associated with Northern Ireland nor does it have anything to do with it. The original tune is Aislean an Oigfear from Limavady and is an old Irish song in Irish (not fecking Bearla) about a young man's dream. The province of Ulster is no country (nor was it ever) so although it does have a flag as a province. Not even "Northern Ireland" as it has no flag. It was the flag of Northern Ireland between 1953 and 1972

  • THERE IS NO NORTHERN IRELAND SO THERE IS NO FLAG FOR IT EITHER. NORTHERN IRELAND, IF IT WOULD EXIST DOESN'T HAVE A FLAG EITHER AS THE ULSTER BANNER DOESN'T HAVE A FLAG. NOR DOES IT HAVE AN ANTHEM. THEY USE THE "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN" BUT THAT'S THE BRITISH ANTHEM. SCOTLAND AND WALES HAVE ANTHEMS, BUT THE OTHER PARTS OF THE UK DON'T. THE NORTH OF IRELAND IS NO PART OF THE UK THOUGH, JUST A PART OF IRELAND OCCUPIED BY THE UK JUST LIKE THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND IS OCCUPIED BY BIGOT BASTARDS.

  • @jorgenpfhartogs: that's what I said. The flag I was talking about (yellow and without a crown) is the flag of the Irish province of Ulster. That's the ONLY real Ulster flag.

  • @PSVfanaat The province of Ulster has a flag but no anthem.

  • Wrong flag!!! The flag should be yellow instead of white and without the crown!

That is the only REAL flag of Ulster!!!

  • @PSVfanaat THERE'S NO NATIONAL FLAG OR ANTHEM FOR ULSTER AS IT IS NOT A COUNTRY. IT'S A PROVINCE OF IRELAND JUST LIKE THERE ARE 3 OTHE RPROVINCES STILL OCCUPIED BY BIGOT PUPPETS

  • I do not understand. Maybe somebody can explain this to me. Please tell me why is it six pointed star on this flag? Is it connected somehow with Jewish David star? I saw Jewish flag just next to this Northern Ireland flag. Please tell me interpretation of this star on thatt flag why is it there?

  • @duomox83 the 6 points on the star represent the 6 counties of Northern Ireland. It has no connection to the star on the flag of Israel

  • @lottpaul1

The star of David is deffo alluding to the freemasonic/israeli links, the old staunch prods have. Sure look at all the trappings of lodges and on the orange halls the freemason symbols etc.

Their enthusiasm for the more old testament in the bible, which alludes to the israeli penchant for conquest and being the chosen righteous ppl, just like the orange order etc

It aint the 6 counties - its the NWO freemasonry clique that they were involved in since the Ulster-scots went to the u.s

  • @CeltzKrieg - I'd forgotten about the LOL symbols etc so you're probably spot on about the masonic links. The "official" reason of the 6 counties sounds much better in the polite circles of North Down and South Belfast tho, don't ya think?

  • @lottpaul1

I thought you were laughing lol. LOL lol. If you get my drift. On a more serious note, yes, I have to conclude it is freemasonry. Look at the influence scots-irish had in America. Some were signatories, i think, to the declaration. And they left out God.

deffo, freemasons, and I think they have taken the loyalist ppl for a ride. The loyalist ppl want to be british, i understand that, but the NWO/freemason thing took hold of their ppl. It's all tied up with identity now, pity

  • @duomox83 Six counties in Northern Ireland

  • @lostboysonbikes English bastard who made song,

  • Why is Northern Ireland a part of U.K. rather than Ireland? what does the hand on the N.I. flag stand for? I've seen the same hand on the flag of Abkhazia...

  • @owaisinus Because they offered to decide at the 1920s to stay or to leave the UK and Ulster province excluding 3 counties choose to be loyal to their sovereign. The red hand is the Red Hand of Ulster from the times of the High Kings. The myth says they decided whom to be the lord of Ulster in a boat race. Whom ever touches the shores of Ulster first to be high king. The one was loosing cut off his hand and threw it ashore winning the race and claiming Ulster.

  • @Jolly0303 Shut ur fuckin ass

  • @James199566 Very cultivated, congratulation....

  • Comment removed

  • @owaisinus Govenment of Ireland Act 1920. The red hand is from the Ulster flag. The shields that the hand is on represents the six counties.

  • Sectarian BASTARDS on both sides!!! Can't you fuckers just shake hands and agree that this song is awesome!!!!!! : )

  • I cant wait for a united Ireland and then this horrible tune can get removed off youtube.

  • @OBoyle1916 "Danny Boy" isn't an anthem. It's a joke of a song they sing at Bunratty Castle to the tourists. As or the tune "Londonderry Aire", well how can you have a national anthem that's only about one small part of the country. That would be a bit like the USA adopting "New York, New York" as the national anthem.

  • @usernametakenasusual I know Danny boy isnt an anthem its a song. What has your comment got to do with anything i said. Are you trying to justify as to why this tune sounds like an 60 year old with lung cancer trying to play the tin whistle and failing miserably.

  • @OBoyle1916 When you ask a question, end the sentence with the following symbol: ? Also, when referring to yourself, always remember to capitalize the letter "I". Now, as per your "questions". The fact of the matter is I was agreeing with you. No, I wasn't trying to justify anything. If it's a fight you're looking for, get off your computer, go outside and pick a fight with someone. Because as we all know, fighting online is like competing in the Special Olympics.

  • @usernametakenasusual Sorry I forgot I was writing my dissertation. I will keep thy's wonderfuly magical extravagant mindblowing tips for furture extraordinary internet encounters and I hope these newly found skills will deeply inhance my skills at texting. Lets end this converstation at the Northern Ireland athem is shit.

  • @OBoyle1916 Either way Danny boy is still going to be an Irish song. The anthem of Northern Ireland is Londonderry Air

  • @54321robbiek It's the Anthem of NI like Flower of Scotland is the anthem of Scotland but their real anthem is God save the Queen.

  • @3SpudnikSickels Northern Ireland is a country but it's part of the UK.

  • This will just be a song in Ireland in a couple of years. The official anthem wil be Amhran Na Bhfiann because the IRA will take back the six counties.

  • ha ha

  • every country in the world has a culture, u people say northern ireland is a country, wat is ur culture? a flag? a flag? a flag? an a flag

  • Northern Ireland is a failed statelet of the untied kingdom, not a country. It is not the provience of ulster either, Ulster is made up of nine counties, not six(donegal, cavan and monaghan being the other 3). Get ur facts right

  • @thebomber1983 it is a country u scum bag

  • So sad Ulster has invaders and people who dont belong to Ulster/Ireland. The natives are Irish Celtic Catholics and not protestants who are of english and scottish heritage and welsh heritage. Shame these folks dont have their own country. I will keep Praying until the day Ulster becomes part of Republic Of Ireland where it truly belongs and the protestants will be evicted. That day will come. Its shame protestants were slaves of english yet still lick their ass.,

    P.S Am Irish!!!!!!!!......

  • Why does the flag has the six point star .. like Israel uh ? ? ?

  • @gluca90 its says stop jews multiculturalism of shit

  • @DjLMFAO Fuck Israel .

  • @DjLMFAO and fuck zionism ... always

  • god save the queen as national anthem ,how pathetic you orange bastards are .

  • @evertonfa comments like that are whey there will never be a united ireland. you lot havent a clue about us so how can there ever be a union between our 2 peoples. we sair nothing in common, we want nothing to do with you. live your life in peace and how you wish and leave us alone to live ours

  • for all brave and good people from the green island , fight for your freedom and kick the brits out of that land !!

  • this is not the anthem of Northern Ireland...

  • Northern Ireland for the Irish!

  • wrong national anthem.

The national anthem for northern ireland is

    God save the queen !

  • Actually if I'm not mistaken here, Londonderry Air represents NI at the Commonwealth games, and it's seen as the unofficial national anthem of the country because of that. However GSTQ is sung at for instance football games by both the English and the Northern Irish, and seeing as both countries are part of the UK and of the Commonwealth I see no wrong in that.

  • from n.ireland and love the flag but anthem is shit

  • danny boy isnt a fucking anthem sure it was wrote by a man in the republic

  • @Stevenbfg Byte me dough boy the tune is the Londonderry Aire stolen by the person who wrote Danny Boy and He wasnt even from ireland

  • God save the Queen is our anthem not this rubbish.

  • @separatesix you dont have an official anthem because you are not a nation, you are six irish counties

  • @1Fianna ,isn`t Ulster a part of the UK,it was when i last looked on the map,it`s got borders and everything.

  • 3 counties of Ulster are not part of the UK.

  • @1Fianna ,yes i know that a third of the counties of that province lay within the borders of Eire.Donegal ,Monaghan and the other one who`s name escapes me..

  • @bazzatheblue shows how much of an ulsterman you are, you cant even name the counties...

  • @1Fianna .sense of humour failure?

  • @54321robbiek thats the uk anthem, ni doesnt have one because its a phoney country - part of Ireland

  • typical huns stealing our music then making a shit remix

  • "Our music"?

Please explain how a melody written by an Ulster-Scot, in a style which doesn't lend itself to words in any traditional "paddy music" style, and with lyrics by an Englishman (Frederic Edward Weatherly), is "our music"?

Personally speaking, it's a shame Ulster-Scots music is burdened by this boring rubbish. As far as I'm concerned I'd let you fenian motherf*ckers keep it.

  • Warriorking1963, You know something, I respected your comment until you said, "you fenian motherf*ckers" Then I lost more respect when I discovered you found those facts on wikipedia, and you do realise that "fenian" was the name of a group of heroic Irish Warriors? So, don't say words you don't know the meaning of. Your mother should've told you that.

That flag isn't the flag of Northern Ireland either. Northern Ireland has no official REGIONAL flag or anthem.

  • @Skyifictionable Hey, do I REALLY give a shit about what an Irish Catholic thinks of me?

So the info about Danny Boy is on wikipedia. I knew that long before wiki was even heard off. Facts still remain facts, and that song has got NOTHING to do with paddy music.

I am fully aware what a fenian was in Irish mythology. It was also the name of the scum who belonged to the IRB, another bunch of treacherous, murdering, b*stards.

  • First of all, how the hell should I know? I don't read mines.

Second, I'm sure you did know all of the facts you stated before, I was just puzzeled at the fact that they were worded almost identically to yours. Also if you had read wikipedia correctly you would have noticed this phrase: "it is most closely associated with Irish communities." So, you could call it "paddy music" actually.

  • Yes, you're fully aware now that I've told you, also, that's your opinion on the IRB, should do I REALLY give a shit about what a British Protestant thinks of Nationalist groups who have one aim: Get the British out of Ireland?

  • thye didnt belong to the IRB they came before them and nothing wrong with danny boy in fairness tis an old tune but still ok ....after a shit load of pints that is...

  • @timpatjoe its the Londonderry Aire you twit.........Danny Boy was put to it

  • LOL, IRB murdering basterds? Em, what was Loyalists and all that fucking terrorist scum

  • @Skyifictionable The flag above was officially recognised as the provincial symbol of Northern Ireland, until the government abolished it in an attempt to toady up to Sinn Fein/IRA thrash. Your mother should've told you that!

On a more conciliatory note, I took a look at your profile (nice to know who I'm talking to) and must say I like your video of the plane at Dublin airport.

  • Exactly, it WAS officially recognised, not anymore. Why on Earth would my mother tell me that?

Well, thanks, I like it too, it was a very nice vacation, you'll be glad to know we flew by Aer lingus and not British Airways. :)

  • This flag was 'the Ulster Banner' the Official Flag flown by the Northern Ireland Government [Stormont] from 1953 [Coronation Year] until the collapse of that government in April 1972 That body was dissolved under Northern Ireland Constitution Act of 1973 So in that regard this Flag no longer can be flown from any public building Talks are a foot to maybe create a new flag for both communities The minority Community curve seems to be quite profound @ 42% 2001 Census next Census 2011!!!

  • I checked it up.....and your right!!!! Im amazed theyre prodestant! Never knew. Ha.

  • They're Anglican or Church of Ireland, which is technically a Protestant denomination, but is actually very similar to Catholism, more so that Presbyterianism.

  • Bullshit. Dublin has to have Catholic Cathedral. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT dickhead.

  • This is an IRISH song and always will be, your national anthem is god save the bitch get over it

  • WHAT WHEN THE QUEEN DIES the king???

  • BritishBulldog, your sarcastic remark about Irish education is uncalled for. The Irish education system is one of the most respected in the world. Your comments throughout, demonstrate how bigotted you are notwithstanding that they appear to be benevolent and tolerant. You can fool some of the people some of the time.

You are correct! Scotland is the greatest threat to the "UNION" I presume UK. There has NEVER been a TRUE UNION. It is nice to see the end of Tyrannical Britannia.

  • That is true but its not propaganda that 20% of Eire was protestant before partition and then after was 3%.

You are probably right about the rest, but We should never unite with the republic ever..

  • No its "seeing as the protestant population dropped from 20% to 3 in 10years in Eire, I dont think we will give up our own right to self determination to rascist bigoted imperialist Irishmen" my view has changed alot but id still NEVER bow down to a government run from the Dail, same way I laugh at Westminster..

  • ZZZZZZZZ

  • northern ireland isnt a country its a province (ulster) which is part of ireland

  • norther ireland is a country.....!!!! Ulser is a provance that was used back in the middle ages. ulster extended across the entire northern part of ireland. since the seperation ireland those in the north adopted the old term of Ulster.... get your facts right dick head

  • @david123451988 northern ireland is a country u fucking retard

  • @david123451988 Northern Ireland is a country (6 counties). Ulster is a province of Ireland (9 counties) ya fuckin wanker learn some geography and history

  • @david123451988 were not part of ireland we may be joined but were not part

  • @david123451988 If you can't even get the geography right, just stay away from the politics. Ulster is the province (9 counties, n.i. plus cavan, monaghan and donegal), northern ireland is the country, which is part of the sovereign state (not country) of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland!

  • Comment removed

  • @david123451988 God save the Queen is fine as it is. N.I dosen't need another anthem.

  • @david123451988 Norhtern Ireland is a Country. Ulster is split, parts of Ulster are in Eire (Irish For Ireland which refers to the republic of Ireland)

  • UlsterManRFC86 , and you assume that all Protestants want to stay united with GB?

  • hahaha

  • Gawzo17, he has reconized it as a country, when he said, "Since when was Danny boy (the derry air) the national anthem of Northern Ireland?"

  • Since when was Danny boy (the derry air) the national anthem of Northern Ireland? This British imperialist Unionist state doesn't even have a nationality let alone a national anthem. I'm from the North of Ireland and I'm Irish and very proud to be so.

  • For some reason, Mr1995oreo something made me thing that you were a Unionist.

  • UlsterManRFC86, you last comment, sounded, as if you were trying to say that we came to "your" country and started settling there. Don't be so rude in future. Anyway, soon Northern Ireland will have more Catholics than Protestants, I wonder what'll happen then...

  • What does the number of catholics vs protestants have tae do wit anything? Ye make an assumption that all catholics are in favour of a united ireland. How ignorant of ye.

  • here here..... i too am sick of misconceptions and idiots talking about shite they kno nothing about.

  • Ok... ok... There's a lot of comments being spread here, some nice, some not so nice. What i think will sort out all our problems is if we move the entire Island south towards the same latitude as Florida or something. Everyone will be too damn warm to care who's a protestant, catholic, nationalist, loyalist, smurf, Unionist or even a Republican! I mean who really cares? The nicest parts of Ireland are the parts where no one lives anyway.
