I think starting at 1:44 it could use a little touch of syncopation by either halving the second or the sixth note and giving the remainder time to the next note (as in, have them come in half a beat early, but end where they do now.)

this song smells epic! i am,,, whas, a fan of this game! i had an idea to remix tyrian, the level into a mix of tranze and newage style! but i`ve never had the time, sorry for the english, im from norway. i hope you finish it

It isn't bad, but it isn't excellent either. The first minute or so almost completely seems to ignore the flow of the original - I really couldn't recognise the song until a minute had past.

After that minute, it was fairly good, though there's still room for improvement.

Well it's my own interpretation :P The original song only lasts for 38 seconds. I wanted to bluid up the tension. Shame youtube **** up the quality of the sound. My original wave file sounds much better.

But what kind of improvements would you like to see/hear?

Couldnt hear any tyrian for about a minute, then the part that plays at 1:18 has two conflicting instruments playing, a bit jarring

overall i'd have to say this needs a play in high quality button
