Detroit is my home town but I haven't been there since I left ,that was a good 9 years ago. My brothers told me that Detroit is terrible ,it should be called destroit now. I want to help my city  but I don't know how . You see we can make a difference starting with 1 city, 1rode,1 building at a time. So if anyone have any advice please dont keep it all. Detroit was once considered the Paris of the midwest and now it is an absolute cesspool. It was once a beautiful and vibrant city that now lies in ruins and not just certain areas; the entire city is a disaster area and there is only one contingent of society that is responsible for all of it and anyone with half a brain knows who that is. Institutions such as the FHA housing policies and the VA had specific racial policies and subsidized white flight at the neglect of urban centers and minority populations. Blacks did not ruin Detroit. Economic shifts and institutionalized racism created what you see today in Detroit. Dick.
