  • Isn't it great, that all the European, Middle eastern and North African countries have at least one thing in common - their bagpipes. All so different, reflecting the atmosphere of their individual country.

    I play the Scottish Highland Pipes - here, the traditional bag is made of sheepskin, but over the last 15 years or so, the Gortex bag with diver's standard zip is becoming more and more popular.

    you would be surprised the bagpipe is a very ancient instroment you can find it in alot of reagions of the world, greece has alot more than most people would assume but belive it or not there are types of bagpipes every where

  • I remember meeting him at the kalimniotiko leski in 1999 or 2000...I think about him and his beautiful tsabouna often, I did not realize he had passed on. It is amazing that we meet someone and hang out for a few hours but those memories may linger for a life time...
