  • you need to clean your house

  • What camera did you use? The raw footage still looks pretty good though

  • @dieselvisel

I used the canon HV30.. It's discontinued but I think they still sell the HV40.. it's almost exactly the same as HV30

  • Oh okay just saw that u added depth of field ;)

  • Hey I'm also using Vegas Pro but how did u defocus the backround only? With after effects or with vegas? Thanks! ;)

  • you're great

  • bravo

  • Is there any tutorial :O ITS PERFECT :O

  • Could you get similar color correcting on After Effects? Thanks.

  • @joshwinger

yes if you look around on youtube there are MANY tuts on after effects for "film look" hope it helps :)

  • It is awesome...is there any where to do the DOF except masking?

  • Thanks. No I don't think so, at least not in After Effects.. some kind of mask will always have to be used.. to select what parts to blur out.. Otherwise the whole picture will be blurred.

  • @Tekedon how did u get that smooth motion

  • @sunil144115feb

Not sure what you mean. If you mean smooth panning motion, this was filmed handheld. If you mean smooth like in high fps, this is 25p so it's not more than 25 fps.. so in that way it isn't smoother than other videos.

  • this is beautiful, how did you do it

  • Thanx, after effects and masking tools and lens blur effect :)

  • thank you for the info, i'll try it.

  • Yay can you make a tutorial? Is you cam hd?

  • Um what's the name of the song playing? Love it

  • Can't remember the name. Sorry.

  • Fy F#n vilken skillnad! he blev

  • After countless tries I still cant achieve this effect. I know contrast is involve. Can you just tell everything involved. I dont need a tutorial.

  • Well, depth of field is the most obvious thing that makes this video look the way it does. I added that in After Effects using a mask and the "lens blur" effect. Then I increased the contrast a bit in Sony Vegas, and played a bit with the colors using the "color corrector". Last thing I did was to give the video some letterboxing.. (those black borders). That's about all I did. Good luck! :)

  • don't forget the music! the added music always puts it one big step closer to filmic quality, looks great though! I have to try this lol

  • Yes, that's definatly true :).. forgot to mention that. thanks
