@MasonBangsDrums It's just frustrating sometimes not having another rack tom. When I bought this kit I was definitely more concerned about playing shows where I didn't need the extra, but now that I spend a lot more of my time practicing it would be really nice to have. Otherwise I am very happy with SJC drums.

SJC is an amzing company.they live down the street from me actually.they are very expensive but its all custom so i guess its worth it.but no one should shit on SJC.these guys are great and ive talked to them a few times.great guys

i want to know why you put a dry bright head on a snare with a shell made to sound dark and open?

I actually find the sound of it, even without the head, very dry and focused, so with the head it increases the dry, which I like.
