Hi alysonpeel!

I would really like to go into the peace corps and was wondering if you had any advice on the types of volunteering and what they look for. I've been reading about it for a year now and the more I see the more I want to do it. Africa is especially apealing to me!

I would also caution you that the PC is not for everyone. Read lots of PC blogs (again, you can google me "alysonpeel" for access to my PC and Crisis Corps blogs) and talk to ex-PCVs if you can. It is an experience unlike anything you will ever have, but it has some unique challenges.
