Such as me, no one taught and trained me about that when I started to play table tennis in 7-year old, now I don't have good footwork and no more improve.
Im new to table tennis. Im about 2 months in. I have a primorac carbon blade with spin art on the forehand and tackiness chop 2 on the backhand. Any suggestions?
She's not bad, but she could move a bit more. (meaning being less robotic) But it's nice not to see balls flying off the table. But in my opinion, she shouldn't be using an Amultart. Why don't you try something a little slower, or an all wood? Maybe a carbon, but nothing too fast if you want to progress in technique. I'd recommend an all wood though.
I have to respectfully disagree with your opinion, I think more players should start off with faster rackets to improve their skills faster, it may be a little harder but its worth it, I could see if she was chopping then of course u want slower, but she seems to be starting off as an offensive player and will probably develope into that, no sense of starting with something slow and once she gets good with that, then changing and starting all over with something faster, why not start off strong?
we should be able to control the racket; not the racket controlling us. i believed that even if you have faster paddle, it will go in all the time if you have the right angle. Always use your racket to know em better.
I agree with using your racket to know it better. Everyone has to practice with their equipment to play better with it, but if you don't know much about the sport, the basics are easier learned under controllable equipment. In my mind, I wouldn't get something which I know I can't control (not saying that she can't). Instead, I'd look for something I'm comfortable with, and not look for something I might not be comfortable with and then try to control it.
I respect your opinion taufoofar. In my experienced, I formerly have an unknown combo paddle for about $49. Then I customized a Timo Boll ALC with Tenergy 05 on both sides... I was able to adjust the moment I tried my new racket. It's individuals preference anyway. Goodluck!
I think the adjusting and controlling equipment on the spur of the moment comes with experience. I can adjust to most equipment, even if I don't play my best with it. But it's something that I wouldn't suggest a beginner do at the moment. Thanks for your opinion. =)
wow di u feel proud a 8 year old just hitting over 20 ping pong balls not even moving so happy i mean i think any person can do that in that age group but hope to see her have a good future i guess O.o

how does amultart feel in comparison with a Butterfly Photino or Taksim(Viscaria) ?
thanks a lot !
wisedennis 3 years ago
for the control Photino is the best between those. I like phothino and viscaria but cannot get the correct feel on amultart.

how does amultart feel in comparison for example with a timo boll spirit?
carletto89 3 years ago
I used TBS before, I prefer TBS to the Amultart.
I cannot get the right feel using amultart. I'm using Mizutani, to me it's much better than Amultart.
