youll probabley find that mentasm was made first anyway,coz i bought each track as they were released,and dominator was a poor copy of mentasm,and it shows,i dont even think they used the same patch,its a straight forward sample from mentasm.and there is only one,tb 303.

There is no 303 in this track, that's definitely an alpha juno ("What The?" patch, usually called a hoover). Dominator also uses this patch (and has no 303) so it's fair to say they are similar. Have you ever actually heard a 303 before? Listen to "Phuture - Acid Trax", *that* is a 303.

Yep Joey Beltram confirm me that,there is no 303 at all in Mentasm, but he used a nice trick to make sound the alpha juno 2 patch even tougher.

The firstever to use the hoover patch was Mundo Muzique on : tranztechno ep on R&S records.

Yep at the time this kind of records was called "hardcore techno" or hardcore or hardbeat, things changes...

after 1992/93, in France we called gabber "harcore" and mentasm become a techno track....
