YouTube wants to prevent people from being offended. That's their prerogative, but in the process, they are also preventing people from freely exchanging ideas and being educated.
What there needs to be is a site that is technically comparable to YouTube, run by people who don't give a hoot if something offends somebody.

YouTube is fucktarded in many ways. However, the alternatives never have a decent video response system, subscriber system, or comment (threaded) system. Plus... bandwidth is still expensive.
I don't think any "free speech"-type site will really take off until the above issues are resolved.

who knows, there is no guarantee at all. i do know that yes, this site will continue to marginalize the more intellectual channels and anyone affiliated with them, so i see no reason in fighting this battle here.
