Why do we specifically need to support Israel? This "friend" of ours was taking our aid money and at the same time selling weapons to China! There is no particular need for us to back them, they can very well take care of themselves, our efforts are only making their holy land aspirations more comfortable and us more poor and morally questionable in the eyes of the world.
