Questions, I have the same gun and when you pull the slide just like yours you can see the barrel and a pin of some kind, what is the purpose of that pin, the romanian one has shows only the barrel when you pull the slide.

@1shieris that "pin" is the guide rod, it holds the main spring in place for the most part, without it the spring would rub against the barrel and slide assembly and that would wear down the spring as well as wholly screw up the ability for the action to cycle well...

I don"t know why accuracy is so bad ? but i know that TT is very pistol pistol, what i can't tell about PM , the accuracy is just horrible , in Russian Federation PM got nickname "Мacaroni" ! But TT is realy serious and accurate pistol !

The M57 is more qualitative that TT 33. I have them both and believe me it is a much more nice gun.

This isn't Tokarev at all. This is Crvena Zastava M57 (Yugoslavian copy of TT33) or "Tetejac" how we call it in Balkan. Great gun actually for shooting ducks or so but u can empty whole mag into a guy and he can still sit in the car and drive himself to the ER. That bullet has no stopping power at all, it goes all the way trough concrete block but doesn't stop, so be sure when u shoot there is no one behind the target. You can buy it for less then 100€ here with tons of ammo

Fixing the safety is NOT a big issue all you have to do is take some medium to fine grit sand paper and work on the flat surfaces only. take a little off and test function take a little off and test function etc until you achieve the trigger pull you want. You can not take this gun to some ranges if it does not have a safety and why would you want to take away from what the designers wanted.

Yugoslav version is called Zastava M57 (Tokarev 33tt is Russian version)... it is factory safety (Yugo's had safety's).. If you practice with this pistol you will see how accurate it can be.. maybe new sights and good ammo.. Yugo has a different magazine (9 round) so if your are buy a pistol for mags (and parts) buy a Yugo

Zastava M57 (full size) in 7,65 mm and in 9mm ( 9mm is super rare)

Zastava M88 (mid size) in 9mm

Zastava "M70 Pistol" (officer size) in 7,65 mm
