  • Man... You have completely inspired me! You are an incredible musician, pitch perfect... Amazing, you had me dancing all night... Even in my sleep. Frigging amazing,

  • thats cool :)

  • Bravo!

  • Very nice! Can you also remake Utopia Me please.

  • Great cover, great synths! Classic mate.....

  • hi chris, it's amanda....fr tx.. yeah you know...hope you're enjoying flag

  • this is great :D

  • Hi m8t! I still love this! Get on Facebook! PS: I watch all your Video's from the old days,,,,

  • Super Cool!!!

    i love it

  • I tell you again: You're great!!! WONDERFUL SOUND

  • Cool trip to the early Eighties!

  • Echt cooler Sound. Real cool Sound. I Like this very Much. Thank you.

  • I'm 17 and really only just started playing keyboard. I have NO idea how you make this kind of stuff (it seems so confusing), but I want to be able to make the same sort of music some day :) and Giorgio Moroder is hugely underrated, I love the "From Here to Eternity" album. Anyway keep up the good work, you're brilliant at this : )

  • love this ... you should put in the text wich synths are in use :-)

  • @smartti1970 Hope I'm right. TOP LEFT MicroKorg. String/Pad, Next one down below MK is Ensonic ESQ 1 (blue display). Using as sound generator as well as MIDI controller and Sequencer. Below ESQ is Roland Juno G. Used for played sounds and probably via MIDI. It's capable of like 128 note multi-timbral polyphony. Behing him bottom is the Juno 6. That's running the arppegiations. Modifies sound in video. TOP Juno 106. Not sure what sounds (bass?). Akai sampler rack. Zoom effects unit. MORE.

  • @Booger6995 On retrospect he also could be feeding the Juno 6 and/or 106 with MIDI from the ESQ. It has 8 channels on the sequencer plus keyboard voice too so. It's really hard to be exact with Mick as he uses so many different techniques it's hard to keep up with sometimes. Well I hope I helped and didn't confuse. Maybe he will chime in if anything is in error. L8R

  • I wish i had your brain, thats all i can say.GREAT MIX again mike.

  • Nice Donna Summer-esque sound! I see you are doing it with mostly modern equipment. I could only imagine what you would do with some vintage Moogs and ARPS and perhaps an Oberheim thrown in for good measure.

  • That's I call talent!

  • @reup70 Agreed. What more is that this sound is coming from modern equipment. You have to hear his "Blade Runner" Vangelis work. It is stunning. I came across mik300z by accident because I was looking up some more info on what the microKorg can do (sitting there on the left). I had one in my repair shop for a while and I just decided to fix it. So far I am pleasantly surprised at what this little unit can do.

  • This stuff is the shit, lol my brother and I actually got the police calling at the door playing this music through a like 1995 (?) IBM computer audio set with subwoofer

  • i love it, u know ur stuff

  • PArty at his house LOL!!!!

  • Just found you...Brilliant..Would love you to do a pink floyd composition

  • reminds me miami vice

  • that is very nice thanks

    listen to kees vangelis ;-)

  • Your the synth midi MASTER...........GREAT MIX.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • You make everything sound fat! Keep em coming!

    Really great stuff buddy!

  • Thankyou , love you like it:)!!

  • Wahey, superb! Takes me right back to the 70's and my parents Disco LP's....From here to Eternity, thats where she takes me....oh yeah....Nice one Mick!.

  • This guy is brilliant love it to bits

  • Thankyou my friend!!

  • I am back in the 80's, and dancing. She say's I can't dance! Watch my feet! No Handbag's around me. I am on the floor and dancing! Bring back the 80's. Bring it on!!!! Need a Babysham! I am Knackerd!!!!

  • You know what, watching this has just inspired me to dig out my Human League "Love & Dancing" vinyl - and Giorgio Moroder LP - I'd forgotten how great they were and still are. HUGE TANKS Mik300z - you are such a gifted keyboardist / producer. Keep it up :)

  • Cheers!! enjoy the music !

  • you did a fantastic job on this one

  • Love Giorgio Moroder, Great dance track,. one to add to the Album. A1++++++

  • I love Giorgio Moroder and there are only few videos like this on you tube so thamkxxx for making it.

  • Thank's for sharing.

  • I dont think most people could hear any pitch drift. sounded great to me

  • check out 3:57! It's a result of the pitch wheel "sticking" or something, not sure

  • Oh yes.

    Great job!!

Really love the sound of the kick and the way it's compress.

Can you please tell me about it?

    Please!!!!

  • Hi and thanks, the kick is from a kit on the Akai s3000 sampler called disco. The sample discs came with the sampler , they sound amazing even without compression, although i added a little bit of comp. from my behringer

  • glad to see all that technology put to good use.

  • Great! You're flying high, man!

  • Cheers Gianni, great to hear from you:)!

  • awesome.

  • best jam ever, this is absolutely brilliant.

also, i swear to god i've hit the subscribe button on your page about 5 times but it never works.

  • Best sounding synth jam on youtube of 2009. My opinion

  • Sounds great :)

    wow LoL!!:)

  • DISCO time....

    This is fantastic mick!

thanks for the trip to the late 70`s :)

  • cheers marco!

  • 5 keyboards are so much more than 1 laptop :) Nice!

  • oh my gawd!!!! I had to take a triple look to make sure that wasn't Giorgio in the room!! you NAILED IT!!!! I was almost expecting a scene from Scarface to show up!! well done!!!!

  • Good music.

You should get a singer and release some of this professionally.

  • another incredible audiovisual experience... congrats!

  • Oh maaaan, mik, we gotta jam! You've even got the disco ball and have SUCH a knack for recreating the magic of these synth classics! I'd be happy to dance along, or wail some crazy solos overtop!

I gotta put you on my Tumblr now. :)

  • My VFX SD Mod Wheel needs a little adjusting before I play, gotta stretch it a bit before use. Old age setting in : ( BTW, you gotta stretch too. My arms are pretty long but I have to believe the MicroKorg could've been placed closer. ; ) "knock on wood"

  • hahaha nice giorgio moroder is the shit..... i've been a huge fan of his ever since i heard the chase(which you nicely covered) have you every heard the score to the neverending story? you should try a cover of one of those songs.....

    anyway man, nice work!!

  • very cool Musik!5*****

  • A jungle of synthetizers! My Dream :D Great job!

  • savage - that would get people dancing !...... you're giving the two guys in a shed a good run for thier money ;-)

  • lol! I need to learn that crazy analogue dance first:)

  • Hi Mik,

good tune, only the Vocal Part has way to much echo / hall on it, i think less would be more in this case.

    Jens

  • cheers Jens, i agree, but i got so fed up with getting a sound to replace the vocal I missed that. I put a HUGE delay on the vocal part, ...oh well!!!:)
