I followed her instruction and it always worked like a magic......until today. I converted to .3g2, 23 seconds long, around 180kb, and no space between words. Yet, whenever my friend calls me, I get no sound. Worst of all, now all of my other videos that have worked before are not working either. Anyone has any solution? :(

i have made the video like you have, converted it to 3g2, and then put it into my SD card. the size of the video is right, file is correct, but when i use it as my video ringer for voice calls it doesn't seem to work still. do you know why?

@WalduS117 You have to rename the file to one word. So if for instance you wanted a ringtone of the National Anthem. You would have to titile it like nationalanthemringtone. Or something like that so it's all one word. That's what happened to me and it's worked right ever since.

The only computer that I have with WMM has Vista installed on it, and like someone mentioned it doesn't give the option to choose which format or size you want when saving the file. I found software that will let me convert just an mp3 directly to 3gp2 (seeing as how I NEVER get a response back fromj Zamzar) and I FINALLY got it on my phone after hours of trying. Now, when I play the video it doesn't have any sound at all... just static... How do I fix THIS problem?

@britrob24 I finally got it to work, the only thing I learned from this video is that I MAY need a 3g2 version with a wmv to get it to work... the movie maker bit is virtually useless if you have Vista and Zamzar never sends emails when I try to convert... but thanks for the help anyway

I found you CAN NOT have any spaces in the file name. Also, the phone seems to truncate the name to the first eight characters so make sure they are unique

Very helpful, I was wondering for days why my phone would only play this one ringtone compared to the others i made, even tho there were some that were shorter. Apparently, the req. is that the video has to be less than 25 seconds as well.

Make sure that you saved it in the right format that it will allow. Remember, in the video, she said that on saving it, you have to play around a bit. Start watching at 1:56 again.

OK. Heres another problem i have. I managed to convert it to a 3G2 file, and put it in the EXACT place you did.

I even assigned it from the EXACT place you did. Everything is nice and dandy right? WRONG fairly land is a mile away

Now when someone calls me, it uses the default ringtone that was assigned before!! The video ringtone seems not to show up
