  • fuck!

    So fucking awesome!

  • That guitarists is good!

  • @spaceorbison You think? Guess some never heared of Michael Schenker. One of the best best and most influential Rock guitarists of all time.

  • One of the most underrated guitarists of the 70's. I've never even heard any of the UFO albums without him. When he left, I was done.

  • Nunca nadie sonara como Mister Schenker! hoy se me sigue enchinando la piel al escuchar el talento de este maestro.

  • Oh, it's taken from some japanese video. What's the title of this video?

  • I was brought here by MAIDEN!

  • Now THESE are guitar solos 2:02 3:48. Not the Neo-classical cookie cutter solos that most brag about. Those bore me to tears. Ill take a melodic Schenker solo over them any day.

  • Y are the seventies so godamn good and REAL? No bs. No wussified musicians. No PC croonies. No Rolling stone with idiots on the cover. Before my time but damn do I wish I was there. Listen to these bastards ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • for the comment ,to young or stupit, who the hell was asking you. do you think your specail or something, haha, but i guess youtube does need rude people like you saying shit!!! on here to keep the ratings high, goodjob asshole. europachef

  • amazing band, been listening to them since i was 14 haha .i,m now 47 and still blown away on the guitar sounds.wicked.what ago Michael..well respected and far one of the best heavy metal rock guitar player ever.the solo stuff just insane.

  • amazing band, been listening to them since i was 14 haha .i,m now 47 and still blown away on the guitar sounds.wicked.

  • @ace64ful yep, same here, went to see them live at Lancaster Uni many moons ago FINE BAND

  • what's the difference between UFO and some crappy bands like U2?...A lot of experience in writing songs, melody in the songs and some reputation because many dumb people out there don't know what real music is... ;)

  • Eddie Trunk's favorite band. That Metal Show rocks!!!!

  • UFO nach ARP mit dem besten Hard-Rocking Sound

  • saw them at the palace theater in Albany n.Y. early to mid 70's +or- , they were with Black Oak Arkansas, good show

  • That lick by Shencker (@ 2:03) was ground breaking. Pioneer extraordinaire. Listen to the 1976 version. This is more mature and defined. He kept at perfecting it. And it shows! So many studied him and copied him in the 80s.

  • Michael Schenker has become one of my favorite guitarists. It's hard to believe he was only 20 when the "Lights Out" album was released.

  • nazis!!

  • more importantly this from the golden age of UFO wheen Shencker was at his peak

  • Thats really a Hard Rock band! They're really good...

  • UFO = Gods

  • even after all these years I think this is still one of the best damn rock n roll bands in history i still play this in my truck

  • 48 folks tried to hit the "like" button in the dark.

  • what 48 people don't like this

  • Yeah right.

  • man they really should of shown Paul Raymond jamming back there on -that piano in this video more. you can barely see him at all in this video. UFOOO thumbs up for him - - - - ->>>

  • "GREAT" song by UFO!!

  • hmmmm, I always thought it was figurative, not literal. way cool jam, this is awesome. "force it" was the last LP I bought of theirs, takes me back.

  • nice reminiscence of 70's.....golden age of monsters of rock...!

  • nice reminiscence of 70's.....golden age of monsters of rock...!

  • SPECTACULAR!!!

  • awesome!

  • will see some of these guys in Ibiza

  • Every single time i sees this thumbnail, looking up UFO shit, all's i sees is the great Curt Cobain!!! He lives on in our hearts.... esp when you realize his name is within the great spell checker....

  • UFO is a myth, as a excuse to increase military expenditure. It will take UFO millions of years to reach Earth. Nobody can survive that long. There is no life for 100 light years. Light travels 300,000 kilometers a second, Light will travel around Earth 8 times a second. If we could travel 40,000 kilometers per hour, it will take us 100,000 years to reach the nearest sun to earth, which is 2.5 light years away. Light will travel in 1 hour what will take us 4 years to travel. click Justice party

  • @justicepartyuk NEVER UNDERESTIMATE SCIENCE :) Just cuz we don't know now, doesn't mean we won't know tomorrow :) Just look at history, it repeats a pattern!!! :) ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE THRU SCIENCE LoL

  • @justicepartyuk There is no room for your Right Wing Conspiracy comments on a rockin' video like this.

  • one of the best ufo songs

  • Used to play this in a band called The Janitors of Anarchy! I'll never get over how much it rocks \m/

  • That song is one of my favorite hard rock songs ever. Just like “Stormbringer” by Deep Purple, it totally satisfies with its content, and excites the listener without requiring an effort on his part to listen to it. I can play that song twenty times in a row and not get bored by it.

Michael Schenker is just one notch below the nr.1 – Ritchie Blackmore. Too bad he didn’t play the Stratocaster to develop an even more recognizable, personal style of playing.

  • i dont care what any body says there straight up bad ass ufo kicks ass u rush fans can blow out your ass

  • im 14 and i hate todays music, cuz i know how to appreciate real artists like UFO!

  • Check out my UFO music videos I composed

  • When Michael is (semi) sober, nobody can touch him.

  • now that did not to seem fair.... I am already a supporter of "Whatever the Phak" this

communicative device is.I want Barbara! I have something to say to her............from1978....She know's

  • amazing

  • 46 people kept the lights on during Earth Hour.

  • @trikespotter I sure did, and the AC, and the big flatscreen. I went out and activated motion-detecting lights for 2 hours as well.

Still a great song, but Earth Hour is a flying crock of monkey shit.

  • @trikespotter no, only 49 people turned them off for that ignorant stupid crap

  • For anyone who is either too young, stupid or both - this song is about the German aerial assault raining down death on England during WWII. Lights Out - They would turn the lights out in London so the targets couldn't be seen from the air.

  • @europachef 02:03 sums up what this song is all about.

  • @europachef, I never really thought about it, but thanks for the tidbit of information.

  • @europachef To young? its not like your old enough to have been in world war 2

  • @europachef Oh yeah, and Oswald and Ruby were "lone" nuts...

  • @europachef Wow! You're the master of not only music, but history as well! Cudos!

  • @BigIanK It's about the Blitz on London during the Summer of 1940.

  • @europachef young doesnt always equal stupid

  • @europachef thanks buddy I had no idea.

  • REAL ROCK-N-ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!the end

  • 46 dislikes WTF!!! Well,my LIKE makes up for those BIGTIME!!! Rockin'!!

  • If there is a better rock guitar player than Michael Schenker, I haven't heard him yet. I've got nearly every album UFO ever put out.

  • @Fool4Evelyn

Ritchie Blackmore is the most comprehensive rock guitarist ever. Michael is Brilliant; Ritchie is a genius.

  • @Flankersquirrels Ritchie sounds craps although he ranks 2 in my list but cmon his playing is so rusty compared to Uli Rith , Michael Schenker and Yjm!

  • @Fool4Evelyn 100% agree

  • Esta cancion es buenisima

  • Fucking love this band!!!!

  • one of the most underrated bands ever. i have seen this band live so many times and have the ticket stubs to prove it! ufo fucking rocks!

    peace.

  • @suprflawd

Completely and totally underrated band. These boys ROCK HARD!

  • 2:00 mark he tears it up...

  • Schenker is unbelievable.

  • wow these dudes were my first concert with cheap trick in 1981 i was like 13...

  • Valeu pela indicação @joao_gordo_ Mudando o clima do carnaval!

  • @muskypucker ROCK ON!

  • 46 retards have Beiber-fever

  • The one and only honor I had of seeing UFO live was with the Starfighters, UFO, both opening up for Ozzy's Diary Of A Madman tour. Even though I was terribly into heavy metal, I thought UFO was absolutely incredible. Starfighters were good, too. I had the double-pleasure of this being the formidable San Antonio, Texas show where Ozzy pissed on the Alamo while drunk, getting thrown in jail & banned from the city for many years. UFO...WOW!

  • First heard/played this band's stuff wayyyyy back in the 80's, had to ad-be the solo. Still can't touch that Schenker guy. He did a great service both with UFO and with his brother in the Scorpions back in the day... Thanks for a GREAT video. What a phenom/underated axeman.

  • THE MOST UNDERRATED BAND EVER.

  • My HERO! One of the best solos Ive ever heard... I wish I had seen those 46 fuckers who missed the "like button" lined up against the wall

  • what a brilliant song! Michael Schenker is such an under rated guitarist, So awesome; deserves more respect.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @muskypucker

I am 46 and grew up on this mind blowing music......

Even played this song with a local metal band at 18.....

I had no idea this is what the song is about...

My Father flew B-17's over Germany..... And bless his heart is still alive, and doing very well!!!!

    Thanks for the insight!!!!!

  • First time I heard this song I was like "holy shit WTF is this?". I played music professionally for many years after that. Watching this vid I remember what it felt like to be 16 again. Up the irons.

  • Discovered UFO some 30 years ago... still a fan.

  • i saw the with ac/dc in 79 at poughkeepsie ny.

  • Marvellous !

  • Pete was a huge influence on Steve Harris and he would be the first to tell you that. Check out those pants he's wearing in this video then watch some of the old maiden videos. It's like Steve borrowed them.

  • @muskypucker At first I thought you meant Michael Schenker, as the German aerial assault, haha

  • hey guys check out my bands cover....its not too shabby

just enter the warning label lights out and you should get to it

  • @muskypucker Right On dude! This is all about the Battle of Britan.

  • i saw them open for ozzy in 1982. it was an encredible show. i was a kid and never heard of ufo, and they kicked some major ass. been a fan ever since. thnx for the vid. i feel so lucky to have lived and seen this stuff, kids and people don t have any idea how cool of an era we lived in. hey saw van halen for 8 bucks..........to that..

  • @TheDannyhyde no doubt! It ain`t what it used to be. That`s for damn certain.

  • sonzera!!

  • excelente

  • For you newbies out there here is a list of some of their best songs. Doctor, doctor.

Rock bottom. / Mother Mary. / Mr freeze. / Love to love. / Try me./ Profession of violence./ Belladonna./ High flyer./ Cherry./ Baby blue./ Only you can rock me./ Shoot, shoot, and of course Lights out.

  • @fyorbane fella you forgot natural thing & rock bottom

  • One of the best bands of all time. From back when the rock was real...some truly great music came from UFO.

  • @muskypucker we bow to you, our asshole genius god. thank you for your benevolence and grace

  • UFO - pretty good band! I get the statements by the others......was stationed in WEST BERLIN for a time in the late 70's.........either you get it or you don't. It's that simple.

  • Lights out tour paradise theater flint mich. this Guy named Lonnie came back from college said thier playing tonight wanna go? I was like are you kidding? of course. Got there 20 min's late but some band named smack dab was opening (they were pretty good) there was like no one there walked right up to second row right in front of schenker ended up only like 200 people came cause it wasn't advertised what a great show!!!!!

  • Fuck why have I not heard this band? These guys are defiantly up there along with Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Budgie, Deep Purple, and the other early heavy metal bands. Killer.

  • @muskypucker You fuckin cock suckin key board worrior kids might be to young or stupid so fuck the song is good either way..

  • This is perhaps the most dangerous song ever written- at least for me. If I play this while I'm driving or riding, I just naturally start going faster...and faster....AND FASTER until everything is maxed-out and everything's coming together...

Maybe the guys in flying suits are listening to the same thing, who knows!

One of the best songs ever.

  • Live, UFO were up there with the best of them. Strangers in the Night is one of my favourite albums. Shame their studio albums never quite lived up to the standard set by it. Studio stuff is good, but lacks that edge that made them a great live band.

  • @muskypucker fuck ya great song good meaning, great musicians

  • una de las mejores bandas de esos años con mucha fuerza y un vocalista con mucho sentimiento

  • @muskypucker You seem to not be young, but bro you sure seem to be stupid XD. Stop calling people stupid because you are an old fag.

  • @muskypucker you'd never guess by the lyrics, which seem to be about rioting in the streets of London

  • these guys are definately rock bottom

  • Comment removed

  • cant tell where iron maiden got there influence from

  • @Dedamn666 where every metal band of the period did; the holy trinity of Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple....those 3 bands wrote the book of metal.

  • @DaMuttzNutz sorry was drunk when i wrote the comment, i put it relation to the questionable choices in trouser pete way and steve harris share

  • @Dedamn666 Ya couldn't be a metaller in the 80s without skin-tight trousers...it was the law :0)

  • @DaMuttzNutz This was released in 1977. As is this show.

  • @kingofthedeep I know, but the spandex trousers were still very 80s...I wore them in my band

  • @DaMuttzNutz They are not spandex. See how they fit at the ankles @0:40. Leather is what they are wearing.

  • @kingofthedeep I think you may be right. Pre-dates spandex by a few years

  • UFO still rocks. Force it was the first UFO record I bought but not the last. Keep the faith and keep rockn' .

  • UFO still rocks. Force it was the first UFO record I bought but not the last. Keep the faith and keep rockn'

  • After over 30 years this song still ROCKS !!!!

  • @muskypucker Bollocks, what about the energy of Machine Gun Ettiquette by The Damned ?

  • This brings some memories back, motorcycling, beers and party were lights went out muahahah This is music :))

  • schenker's tone is perfection.

  • omg.......

  • ive listened to this song since i was little. my dad would always play it :) love michael schenker. hes one of the the few nowadays who actually have talent...

  • Even though UFO may be Eddie Trunk's favorite band, he ranks UFO's logo as his second favorite band logo. The KISS logo is his top favorite.

  • @Vlyger Logos lol

  • altissimo livello sti ragazzi, altissimo livello

  • i was lucky enough to see them 4 times in Concert. The first concert they were backup to Blue Oyster Cult in OKC and I had 2nd row seats but the way the seats were positioned I was standing right under Michael Schenker with his signature flying V. What a treat and I have been a fan ever since. I believe the year was 1978 or 79?

  • @muskypucker Don't judge me because I'm young, at the age of 15 year olds, I love this song. This IS punk.

  • one of the best sounds what I already heard

  • the boyz roll into town May 2011, be there. still a bangin' show !!!

  • Eddie Trunk's favorite band.

  • @Vlyger i came here by him ^^

  • @Vlyger Favorite album was Lights Out or Strangers In The Night? Can't remember.

  • @ufofan1980

His favorite LIVE album of all time is UFO's "Strangers in The Night". His second favorite is Kiss "Alive".

  • I am searching for videos of UFO indoor grow lights, and I come to this? Awesome.

  • @jacob7207 go watch rockbottom!!!!!!!!! now!!

  • shank never messes up xD

i thought this was a track off the album and was like :O wen i saw it was live :P

    long live shanker! :D

  • saw them live in 1979 in Belgium (Deinze). A great performance!!

  • Michael Schenker is god of all flying V. (Sorry Rudolf!)

  • Great video from a classic band on top form. But the date is wrong - this was on 12th June 1977 at the Roundhouse. The Official Bootleg CD 3 is also wrong on this point. Took the boys 33 years to play it again live in the UK and as of today they have now played it LIVE a total of 5 times in the UK. Beyond Awesome!

  • @muskypucker Well said,You just kiss muskies or you fish for them.

  • now thats what I call Rock and Roll! none better!!!!

  • oh dear what crap. Reminds us all why punk was born

  • @TheNapril Punk had practically zero ability. This is skill to kill.

  • @TheNapril idiot

  • @soap797 I second that, I'll add ignorant @hole to TheNaprit!!

  • @TheNapril punk rock was made to counter commercialism i rock music

UFO is considered one of inspirations for the first heavy metal generation, so u mind explaining how the fuck this promotes the creation of punk

  • funny....if i didnt know any better,Id think this is Phil Rudd on drums :p

  • blaaa bl- blaea "snare" baby ne naa "snare" the end is near "snare" so beware "snare" we're so dark "snare" we're so cold "snare" E peddle tone "snare" power cord "snare" repeating words "snare" ending world "snare" life is over "snare" guitar solo "snare '' "snare" '' "snare" " "snare" '' "snare" chop our syllables "snare" sixteen word verses "snare" booze and hairspray "snare" our life is worse "yea"
  • @nekro76 Schenker wrote Rock Bottom at the age of 16..this guy was and is one of the greatest solo guitarists

  • @nekro76 You like Kanye West. What a loser. You and him both.

  • fuckin awesome! too bad, that michael schenker left the band, but they are still great

  • there's no other rock vocalist like Phil Mogg..

for me he's the number one..

  • Thanks Eddie Trunk

  • 42 people's lights went out

  • This is the UFO I'd prefer to watch. Michael Schenker on his Gibson Flying V...

  • Que banda! lo de schenker no se puede creer...un temazo!

  • Some out of this world playing!! Rocking song.
