@Loader2K1 For some reason when I was younger I obsessively played Rolling Thunder 2 and 3 to the point where I memorized EVERYTHING. XD I surprised myself when I came back to this game for this video that I still remembered the patterns.

Considering Splatterhouse got remade for the PlayStation 3 and the X-Box 360, I'd say a Rolling Thunder remake/sequel is possible. Best-case (or worst-case) scenario: it will probably made be outside of Japan by the developers responsible for Namco's Dead to Rights series. At the very least, I would love to see Albatross and Leila as new characters in Tekken 7.

James Bond, Jonny Quest (which was inspired by James Bond), Dirty Harry, even Megaman. I see these influences in this game. Jay kinda lo0ks like Bill Pullman circa 1987 (as per Spaceballs). He has Dirty Harry's Smith & Wesson model 29 as his basic weapon. XD

Rolling Thunder 3's first stage (Oil Refinery) looks similar to some stages in Namco's other game, Bravoman (a.k.a. Beraboh Man).

I like the 3th one,but compared to 1 and 2 it lacked a bit. A change that in my eyes was unnecessary was the new ability to shoot in an angle. Liked it before better,where you just could shoot straight.Changed the gameplay somehow,and it wasn't anymore as tactic.Anyway,goog Game. Just a pity they don't do many of those kinds of sidescrollers anymore. Maybe one to come is "07Commando" for NDS that looks a bit like a Metal slug game from china.
