    -...wtf? Oh hai!

    XD

  • "getting your NAIL and you HAIR did"

  • We actually watched this in my english class after reading "The Importance of Being Earnest."

  • I've watched all of these and i still don't understand where the humor is. Is it the context that makes it funny?

  • @RighteousPsycho If I were you I'd seriously consider the possibility that you're secretly a robot. To answer the question though, it's the same general reason that lots of comedy is funnier when delivered totally deadpan. Several Monty Python skits, for example, wouldn't be what they are if not for John Cleese's freakish ability to not laugh. The humor here comes from that and the fact that they're...well, I can't really explain it. Thought I could for a second though. Hope that helped.

  • Also, this is probably the least funny of the 5. Go back and watch the others and you might understand better.

  • OMG, everytime, the part where he goes does the motion "Creatuuurre" LMAO. Hilarious

  • i just love these. it's so funny to hear these stupid things out of such talented actor's mouths.

  • Please oh please for the love of all worth loving. You must do more of these!!

  • I love the last blooper with the expression of "Good lord, how'd you get back there?"

  • Brilliant, I say!

  • Santino's squint after "cut his nuts off" is brilliant. This whole series is a very good time. Thank you, guys.

  • The guy with the moustache is a phenomenal performer.

  • Awkward zone defeated with maximum ridiculosity!

  • ugh santino is a brilliant actor and gorgeous!

  • Oh my god, Playbill, I love you. Make more of these pleeeease. They're amazing!!!

  • lol loved it so funny :D

  • This is so funny, these guys are really good. I haven't seen Jersey Shore but I've read "The importance of Being Earnest" and it's really funny to have the two combined. I could imagine the characters of Algernon and Jack from the play doing this because they played it so well. This makes me want to see their play!

  • I want to spoon......... I want to fork........

  • 1:38

  • MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE. THIS STUFF IS AWESOME!

  • @jizzthemagicdragon Idiots do.. :p

  • ...I want to knife.

  • Ahaha! Algernon and Jack credited as themselves... loves it.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! This CAN'T be the last one!!! Please do more!!!

  • @jizzthemagicdragon You.... You really don't wanna know... I lost faith in humanity, and became a firm believer in natural selection that day.

  • lmao Fred Flintstone Toe

  • I have never watched Jersey Shore, or even clips from Jersey Shore. And while I DID find this absolutely hilarious, I find it VERY saddening that there are people who say, and do these things with absolute seriousness, and they are seen as ROLE MODELS?!

Is society so desperate for entertainment that we must focus on the misbehavior of lesser men and women who responsible for the downfall of a generation? No, but people don't try hard to entertain, as they do not care.

Its time to change it all.

  • I want to spoon and fork this entire series of vids.

  • I have never watched Jersey Shore, but this is hilarious. Just imagining that someone originally said these things in seriousness...ridiculous.

  • I wish they showed more outtakes, those were pretty funny

  • oscar wilde once stated, in truth, "men with cravats and moustaches make the best lovers." although this partially led to his imprisonment, i can't help but remember it as i watch these videos !

  • Outstanding, boys!

  • Hater juice is best served cold.

  • Stumpy bastard! <3

  • For 2011 all TV shows should be done in the style of Oscar Wilde.

  • The guy with the mustache is very cute. Also I love this, cracked up watching all 5 parts. Great job guys!

  • This is awesome. And now I want to spork.

  • Landmines...I will stuff your nose with TAMPONS! Verbal Jousting... omg this is genius.....STUMPY BASTARD!

  • These actors are truly amazing.

Thumbs up if you think so too. THEY make this style awesome. Screw Wilde.

  • CREATURE!

  • I'd say these videos have improved my quality of life! Thank you, gentlemen!

  • Bravo, good show.

I say, did you ever think of creating a whole show like this? It would be most amusing! :D

  • These guys should actually do the entire series of Jersey Shore like this.

  • i wish they would recite mikes classic monologue regarding group confrontation, flipping pancakes and the act of people punching themselves in the face :P

  • this is amazinggg!!! everything sounds betta in a British accent!

  • Good stuff. I just watched all five in a row.

  • It’s amazing what a British accent and Victorian clothing can accomplish..

  • @sarahmcgannsucks In this case it makes a bunch of ignorant morons sound even more ignorant and moronic.

  • More bloopers! More bloopers! <3

  • fred flinstone toe......what.....what is that??

  • This can't be the last... I haven't seen Jersey Shore but isn't there anything for Cecily and Gwendolyn to say?

  • ...CREATURE...

  • How do I give this 2 thumbs up? Srsly...

  • "i want to spoon..."

*comes up creepily from behind counter* "I want to fork..."

    LMFAO i was DYING!! xD

  • This video makes me proud to be British

  • The final installment ought to have paid-off with a 180-degree reversal: "Jersey Shore" cast members (as impersonated by Messrs. Fontana and Furr, with a complete change of costume and accent) delivering excerpts from "Earnest" in broad guido-ese...

  • ...Just as some of the Jersey kids' colorful slang acquires an odd wit and elegance when delivered in a posh Edwardian accent -- I'm betting that these two skillful actors could've made Wilde's epigrams sound bizarrely plausible (and hysterically funny) in the mouths of NJ beach trash.

  • the style of Wilde would be 'Wildean'

  • stumpy bastard!

  • Two very talented guys!

  • You guys are lovely.

  • I would love more of these! However, I understand it being too hard to digest more of the actual Jersey shore to get more material...

  • Must it really be last one? It's so good!

  • Actually, he finally said, "Either that wallpaper goes, or I do."

  • "Everything in moderation, including moderation." - Oscar Wilde

  • Please more! I need more Algy and Jack!

  • one joke premise

  • Oh my god I wish this was not the end!

  • "Stumpy bastard"

  • These are hysterical, thankyou so much for doing them!

  • Please please PLEASE make this a full stage show. I'd pay money to see Jersey Shore as done by Oscar Wilde.

  • Being someone from Britain, I was amazed. I thought they were english lads doing posh accents until I saw this last one. Amazing.

  • @chaseuk I know, they're really good. The one with the moustache especially - I had to look him up to see if he was English. And I'm a really intolerant git when it comes to people mimicking English accents, so that's high praise indeed.

  • That was absolutely brilliant. Thank you for all the laughter. This is why I wish I had more friends in the theatre department.

  • Brilliant!!! Next time- use more names for the namecalling. Like "Staten Island Dump".

  • ...his nuts off. ...*eyes narrow*

  • These are fantastic. I just wish there were more and they were longer (wait... That's what Snooki said)

  • These are some of the best British accents I've heard come from American actors. Classic proper dialect, though now it's usually considered posh. Not sure why there's confusion. It may sound funny because of the nonsense they're spouting from the Jersey Shore transcripts. The Guidos definitely don't use proper English.

  • omg they are hysterical! i'd love to hear em say COME AT ME BRO

  • The narrowing of the eyes after "and chop his nuts off" makes it.

  • Exactly what accent are they using here? I want to say British, but it doesn't fit right to how I usually hear British people speaking. Posh Brit, maybe?

  • @UchihaMoonSerenity they're actually American so not surprising that the British isn't correct. It's still really good though considering most British accents done by Americans sound like Cockney

  • @UchihaMoonSerenity Well, most modern british doesn't sound quite like this anymore. It's upper class victorian english (which is the setting for The Importance of Being Earnest), but you do still hear brits speak almost exactly the way these guys are.

  • HIPPO

  • "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."

Please, sirs: MAY we have some more??

  • "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."

Please, sirs: may we have some more??

  • STUMPY BASTARD

  • The opening quote sums up the show perfectly...and a lot of other ones, too.

  • The voice inflections and facial expressions... God, I'm in love with you guys. :D Well done.

  • PLEASE make more.

  • No! Don't let this be the last one!

  • Love, Love LOVE it!

  • Nooooooo! Not the last one! Please make more. PLEASE!

  • Nooooooo! Not the last one! Please make more. PLEASE!

  • more more

    this is too funny!

  • You're only making five parts? Now that's a situation.

  • These are absolutely brilliant. I could watch for hours. Captivating! Haha, well done!

  • Oh please do more. This is my favorite thing of all things. Maybe if you're bored you could do youtube comments in the style of Oscar Wilde.

  • More please!

  • More things should be done in the style of Oscar Wilde.

  • @Ujikaweapon1 Oscar Wilde is timeless and this proves it.

  • @Ujikaweapon1 "All things should be done in the style of Oscar Wilde." There. I corrected your sentence for you. :D

  • @Ujikaweapon1 Everything!

  • @kaotic86 I completely agree.

  • and.. chop his nuts off :D

  • Blooper reel FTW! :D

  • If Jersey Shore was done like this, I'd actually watch it LOL

  • @ohmygoditsamber That's... absolutely not how it works. You need genuinely /stupid/ people to say these things first, and then you need awesome, satirical badasses like Jack and Algernon here to waltz in and repeat them with all the facial expressions and everything else they've got at their disposal. If Jersey Shore were just this, without stupid people having said the lines first... well, it would be even more awful than the actual show, surprisingly enough. To me, anyway.

  • @DaishiVI

Ah, you're right. This should be a parody show of Jersey Shore. They say enough stupid things on that show for a show like this to exist

  • @ohmygoditsamber :P A bit more plausible, agreed. Either way, I love these actors. All in moderation, frankly.

  • There is quite literally no part of this series that I do not adore.

  • @wallrike; hopefully you're talking about this excellent Roundabout Theatre Company interpretation, not the "legitimate" Jersey Shore series.

  • @MalcoveMagnesia; I assure you, Sir or Madam, that I have never watched so much as a picosecond of that condemnable program. :-)

  • Aw I love these! Please make more! I wish this wasn't the last one :(
