Art isn't pretty paintings or sculpture, it's about self-expression. We are all human and we all have experiences that are unique to us. We can convey this uniqueness in some creative way that makes others think, or offends, or elicits some emotion. This is what art is about. For example, you could take a painful experience and create something which expresses that pain for others to see. Perhaps you do it in a threatening way, or non-threatening, or peaceful, or dumb. That's art.
His rather conservative upbringing and the untimely death of his mother plus the madness of Beatlemania is enough to make anyone psychotic. But it's true, his creative peak was before Yoko. Kids hould be forced to watch this video clip in school... and then tell them that before he met Ms. Yoko Ono and subsequntly fell head over heels in love, Mr. Lennon took several doses of LSD. Sure, he had some very creative momments after his acid trips, but his judgement ultimately got very skewed, wouldn't you say?
