  • Gros geek --'

  • cables, cables, cables.

nice to see consoles trailing pc technology. just a shame you need 3 ps3 and 3 gt5.

  • It could be built for cheaper? Lol shut up and build it. Talk is cheap....er

  • How many volts or watts???

  • What's the total cost of all the setup... And how much electricity doesn't take.. Lik e

  • Is there a website where it explains how to set this up?

  • @dozzer1b there is a really good thread on GTplanet.net, it has over 100 photos and all info

  • @ratedEG Thank You very much

  • Yeah the driving line is lame he probably has all the assists turned on.

  • LOLZ he has the driving line enabled. What a n00b.Otherwise, nice setup if you clean up the wires.

  • @N0rthsideDonutz Driving line doesn't mean anything... You can just use it as a rough guide. Also you're just saying that because you're jealous. Those visionracers are like a grand...

  • @JDO658 Mmm yeah...your still using it as a "GUIDE", buddy. I've been playing GT for over 10 years and never needed a driving line, so it does mean something. And looking at my 550 watt Yamaha 5.1 setup, I'm not jealous of some jury rigged contraption that this guy has put up in living room. A grand? I could build a better permanent installation for cheaper.

  • @N0rthsideDonutz Hmm... Look, "buddy" If you've been playing Gran Turismo for 10 years, maybe you ought to get a life? Also I couldn't care less about what speakers you own. Speakers are only only a very small part of a set up, and this guy has a 5.1 set up regardless. Why are you even trying to compare your speakers to a full-on, expensive bit of kit like this? I mean come on. If you read the description he's got well over 3 grands worth of kit, maybe even 4....

  • @JDO658 Yeah, telling me to get a life because I've played Gran Turismo 1-4 in my spare time in the last 10 years? NIce fail, n00b - you just told me you own a G27 yourself. Looking like a douchebag who apparently worships someone he doesn't know on Youtube. HOLY FUCK he's achieved SO much in life. Cuz, like NOONE else has that setup or the ability to build/own it! "OMG itz sooooo kewl!"

  • @N0rthsideDonutz It is cool. And I'd like one. Unfortunately, I'm still a student at uni and don't have that kind of money, nor do I have the space to spare. I'm replying to you in my spare time. You seem to have a bit too much considering you come on here within a day of me replying. You have no valid comeback. Other than that I complimented a guy for achieving in life. Also you didn't say you played it in your spare time. You said, and I quote "I've been playing GT for over 10 years"

  • @JDO658 Yeah, of course it's cool. but one of my main points is that it could be built for cheaper (especially the frame part) for less than a grand. Considering you're on the day after replying to my posts...kind of hypocritical of you. Right there is 2 very fucking valid comebacks. When someone says, and I quote "I've been playing GT for over 10 years", only a retard would assume that's all they've done.

  • @N0rthsideDonutz Firstly, I was on because it's the weekend. IE, I have no Uni. Secondly, I agree you could maybe build the frame for cheaper. But a racing seat is £100+, and the chrome finish, thats another £100. Then the anodized red fixings. To build them would take some fabrication. Then anodizing them will be another £100+ Then you need the metal to begin with. And the tools to bend sed metal into shape. A welder to fix it together. I don't think you could make one of that quality for less.

  • @JDO658 Unless you happen to personally know a metal fabricator, a welder, and have your own pipe bending jig in your garage...which I do. The racing seat would be a Recaro or Sparco without the 5 point harness, and those are cheap.

  • @N0rthsideDonutz There's a challenge for you then. You build one of those. Prove me wrong and I'll take it all back. And reimburse you for the money spent on the metal and seat.

  • @N0rthsideDonutz Also, Don't tell the guy to clean up his wires. He's got to have at least 2 wires per TV (power/HDMI) Plus another 2 per PS3 (power and optical output) Plus another set of wires for the G27 (I have one, so I know for a fact it has 4 wires. Power, Input to PS3, Gear stick and Pedals) And another set of wires for the Surround system. I'll bet even the guy in the video is laughing at me because he cannot even be bothered to argue because he knows his set-up is better than yours.

  • @JDO658 Yep...you can count wires. You want a cookie or something? The description of the video says 'initial installation', dumbfuck...wires are going to be around. He'll clean them up anyways if this becomes a permenent installation, so telling him to do something he's already going to do? Man you sure like hanging this guys nuts, but keep in mind it makes you look retarded.

  • Hey teletran8 you should be more concerned about his cable management then how much electricity he is using, what are you a tree hugger. Someone could trip and fall on that rats nest of cables and shit on the floor, but other than that its sweet.

  • THATS AWESOME, but the downside is your using a ton of electricity :/

  • Nice. Check mine out too bud. PSN: Ratsnacker. Be good to have a fellow triple screener on the list.....

  • are there options to move the hud to the other monitors?
