Because of the tuning 12string guitars give a natural chorus effect which you can hear in this songs intro. I loved the sound so much I went a bought the guitar just to play it! They give a great feeling of depth if played for backing to vocals. Hope that answered your Q.

ok. that seriously is a compliment, thank you. if you listen carefully to them side by side, you will hear that it isnt 'quite' right. bass line, 2nd guitar etc. notice there arent any vocals? i can't sing! lol i've been playing for nearly 20years.
