Horatio was so badass in the first two seasons. He always got into physical confrontations with and without a gun, He had many memorable lines that werent cheesey back then and he used his real voice instead of the monotone voice he uses now. Caruso is in his mid 50's @BetaArtemis and @ricsponge so he cant do alot of physical fights like he did in the first season. But if you watch the first season it shows you how experienced he is in hand-to-hand combat.

no offense, but there should be an episode when maybe horatio at least get nicked by a bullet. It would add a little more drama if SOMETHING happened. all he gets is emotional pain in the bucket loads: speed dies, wife is killed, he's seen a few officers and CSI's get shot/killed. but he better not die cause then i get really pissed. i just love seeing how some people react when someone close is shot. Horatio rocks! gotta love a guy that can use a gun a well. awesome clips!!!

I don't think Horatio has ever been harmed by anything so far, he's come out of way too many explosions and gunfights without even a scratch. Other than the season 6 finale when for the first time, Miami's invincible leading man takes a shot to the chest and pretty much face-plants to the ground, which we find out later was really a way to fake his death....the man's never even gotten anything more than a paper cut....

I agree that maybe it's time for Horatio Caine to face the bullets too.
